4 hour breakfast ride.
I've been riding to work everyday for the last 2 weeks. I hope to top 1k miles this week by Sunday. It's at least 500 a week just to work and back.
I also ordered rear brake pads and rotors today. I'll install them when they come in and do a brake fluid flush as well.
It can't be any harder than my truck.
I'll probably go the way of others and do away with the parking brake as well. Research says this could be leading to excessive wear on the pads and rotors. The rotors are grooved and were when I bought the Trike. That's usually not a good thing.
Edit:
I also ordered the Hogworx Halo day maker headlight and passing lamps now that I'm driving more at night after an unexpected shift change.
2016 Tri Glide, More DK than HD. Just shut up and ride.
Added the chrome script passenger floorboard covers and shiny trim on back of the tour pak! Day 4 of rain , it’s finally supposed to end tonight! Waiting on parts at the local HD dealer.
Lights came in today and I installed them. I'll check the adjustment before I leave from work tonight and test them on the way home.
Edit: I wish I hadn't waited so long to get these. These are every bit as good as the LED's in my truck. These lights really are Daymakers.
The low beam goes out as far as the OEM high beam and the high beam seems like I can see 100 yards down the road. The side coverage with the passing lights is amazing. I can see both sides on a 2 lane just like driving my truck. The lights are excellent and the price can't be beat for the whole set.

Actually I did this yesterday after work.... put on a new set if slip ons so my Harley now sounds like a Harley should...
I wanted to go inexpensive but not cheap for the slip ons since they're going to be temporary until I can get a full system so I went with a set of 4.4" sharkroad megaphone with 2.5" baffles. These sound surprisingly good... much, much better than I expected, not too loud on the freeway but definitely louder than stock, but they have a nice bark when you crack the throttle open. Because these are wide open with no restriction it did effect the bottom end torque a little but not as bad as expected again... my next move will be to take out the baffles and run a set of Thunder torque inserts, then it's going to be time to gut out the cat, free up the intake side and tune.
I've been looking at a lot of the goodies DK Custom has so this will keep me busy for a while....
Work has been beating the crap out of me since we got back from Texas, no free time at all. But I am being able to ride back and forth to work on the TG 3 days a week for better than a month. (the other two days are on the Softail).
We did record a couple of videos on the Tri Glide last week. One is below, and the other one will be coming out soon.

Rode home from work this morning. Get to do it again the next two nights.
Pulled off the stock muffs, replaced them with my CVO w/2” Fullsac cores that I ran on a 15 RG. Took a serious look at the intermediate pipe coming off the header, now I understand the clearance issue better. The decatted headpipe will have to wait, just not in the mood to deal with that yet, lol. Retuning this week.
My trike had the original 6 year old Dunlop tires that the bike came with. I put a set of the Continental Control Contact Tour A/S Plus tires on because Discount tire did not have the Michelin tour tires in stock. I did not want to wait the day it would take to get them because I was riding the trike back to Flagstaff from Phoenix where I had the trike for the winter riding months. They were $30 less for the set and have the same 80,000 mile warranty. So far they are performing really well.

I ordered a new set of Rinehart slip-on's. Should be here tomorrow.

Here's the video we made last week with the TG.
Went for a ride and Mary likes it! Been suggesting it to her for years.
She's been happy, and she's happy now. That's what's important.

Nice video Kev. I've had that filler on my last several bikes / trikes and I've never ever been able to install it with the stock screws. The Kury filler pad is a bit thicker than stock and the screws are too short to work with it easily. I purchased some slightly longer screws - forget just how long, lol. I even called Kury and discussed this with them but I can see they took no action to inform and suggest a bit longer screw.

Got the Trike all polished & shined up. Packed clothes, changed the fluids,& checked tires . Waiting for next Fri to leave.
2020 TriGlide Tahitian Teal aka (Hawaiian Hussy). Avon frt & Comfortred rear tires. ProAction frt & rear susp. RZ seat. DK floorboard extension & rear axle retainer kit with EBS, HD pull -back bars. Custom Dynamics front turn signals & Vent grill. All ,HD "Edge Cut " accessories.
Ordered 12 inch touring freedom windshield to reduce wind on my wife. 5 week wait due to COVID.
Went for another long ride today, had to get gas 3 times. At one point heading home, we ran into my daughter, son in law, his bother and wife. I momentarily forgot my wife was on the back when I turned around and caught up with them. I might have "accidentally" put it on 2 wheels at one point. She was not happy. I hope at least the swelling on the side of my head goes down before I go back to work Tuesday. I do tend to ride a little different (more careful) when she's on the back than when I'm solo.

Went for a little putt today. Nice weather, high was 75*.
Got back and did an oil change and cleaned the permanent filter.
Decided to change out my 828 air cleaner cover...both Mary and I like the chrome cover better than the black one I've been running. Thought I had one here....could not find it. Will look again tomorrow, if it is not here it is at the shop and I'll bring it home and get it on there this week.
Will finish my multi-point inspection later this week. Getting ready for some fun summer riding!
Kevin
Installed vied-fuel mgt system and noticed a big difference in my bikes power and smoothness thanks Kevin from DK customs
Finally got the Kury filler pad put on after the tour pack relocation kit was installed, no more exposed wires. If any one does this the longer screws to use are 10-24 by 3/4". I got them at Ace hardware, 12 cents each.
