Brought the bike home after being at the dealership the last several weeks for my oil issue. Seemed to run just fine, checked the oil level and whoever changed the oil marked the dipstick with a permanent marker to show where it was filled to,saved me from taking a pic. 70% rain for the next 4 days, ugh.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy Sh!t What a ride!
Just went over 10,000 miles on my 2022 Tri-Glide. Not bad for 6 months old.
2022 Tri-Glide Black.
Took trike to Bulldog Harley Davidson. Harley site said trike had a recall on hydraulic clutch master cylinder.
Note: on last road trip would lose clutch after about a hundred miles or so would either have to stop and let bike cool down or pump clutch lever. Dealer said recall had already been performed. Any advice/recourse if it turns out to be the clutch master cylinder because of the recall even though they claim the recall has been performed.
Dealer who claimed to perform recall repair is no longer in business.
Thanks
It is the moisture content of the brake fluid causing the problem if the recall has been done
The fluid needs to be flushed every 2 years for sure, get a fluid tester to see your moisture content, cheap insurance against a break down
The exhaust running close to the slave cylinder seems to over heat the fluid and cause earlier failure of the fluid IMO

Bob and Jack, it is my understanding that the recall was for the clutch master cylinder on 2014 Triglide due to some sort of chemical reaction that could result in failure to disengage the clutch. Only with the black master cylinder.
I know that certain brake fluids would eat away the black rubber seals in the brake lines and would collect in the bottom of the master cylinder…. Had that happen with my 2011 Tri-Glide I had to flush the fluid and clean the bottom of the reservoir using Q-Tips… Maybe they used the same rubber seals in the clutch…..??
Sometimes a Cigar is Just a Cigar.....
2019 Tri-Glide.......
This happens more often than one might think
The heating of the fluid creates the bubbles that are in turn a chemical reaction, this causes moisture that denigrates the fluid
The real reason for the recall, HD suppliers used too much assembly fluid in the manufacturing process, this was the biggest reason behind the recall (IMO)
The assembly fluid could in many of the bikes partially block the compensator port and also cause the primary cups in the cylinder to leak, ( then you lose the clutch pressure)
This is where Bob and I strongly agree to suck out the old fluid in the master, use Q tips or a lint free cloth to wipe all the residue out of the master before refilling and bleeding the slave cylinder
I am not convinced the 14 Triglide we are talking about here did not already have the brake master recall done, it for sure was on the list

Here is the clutch recall
Potential Number of Units Affected: 105,746
Manufacturer: Harley-Davidson Motor Company
SUMMARY: Harley-Davidson Motor Company (Harley-Davidson) is recalling certain model year 2014 Electra Glide Ultra Classic (FLHTCU), Ultra Limited (FLHTK), Police Electra Glide (FLHTP), Street Glide Special (FLHXS), Street Glide (FLHX), Tri Glide Ultra (FLHTCUTG), CVO Limited (FLHTKSE), CVO Road King (FLHRSE), CVO Breakout (FXSBSE), Electra Glide Ultra Classic Twin Cooled (FLHTCUTC), Ultra Limited Shrine (FLHTK SHRINE), Street Glide Shrine (FLHX SHRINE), and CVO Softail Deluxe (FLSTNSE). In the affected motorcycles, a component in the clutch master cylinder may fail, reducing the pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged.
CONSEQUENCE: If the clutch does not remain disengaged, the motorcycle may creep forward while the rider intends to be stopped, increasing the risk of a crash.
REMEDY: Harley-Davidson will notify owners, and dealers will rebuild the affected clutch master cylinders, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in September 2014. Owners may contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464. Harley-Davidson's number for this recall is 0159 & 0160.
NOTES: Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Just finished doing some work on my Tri Glide....took 3 times longer than normal because we recorded the entire process for videos that will be out soon.
Removed my LJ fans and installed the ForceFlow Fan with with the thermostat controlled on/off.
Drained the Redline out of my transmission and put in the HD branded Heavy Synthetic Gear Oil that so many have been raving about.* Will know over the next few weeks whether I like it as well, or better, than the Redline.

Well, I took my Trike to the dealership yesterday. Walked in and they forgot I had an appointment for my 10,000-mile service. I called them 4 days earlier. Told them I wanted Syn3 in the engine. I also said, I wanted to put HD Heavy Synthetic Gear oil in the transmission and Primary. He said to me, he'll put Bel-Ray in it instead. He said it was better.?? So yesterday, they put Syn3 in all 3 holes. Which pissed me off. I had a chrome oil filter on it, but they ended up putting a Black filter on it. I told him about his screw ups. He said he'll fix it next service. I don't think so. I'm finding another dealership. Wait till Harley sends me their little Questionnaire about how they did on my service. Oh MY.
