Finally got the graphic done for the trunk ...

Took the TG back to the dealership yesterday for them to complete the warranty work that was not completed last time it was there.


We finished testing the one-off slip-ons we made...pretty happy with the results. They're going to get a coating of some high heat black finish, then have the custom billet end caps put on. Then they'll be going back on the TG when it gets back from the dealership.

Got it back from the dealership yesterday. Did a little work on it this weekend.

Have some appointments in Little Rock over the next 3 days, so will be taking off in the morning.

Will be a good test run for the air scoops I fashioned for the oil bud oil cooler. WHY air scoops? The water pump on the waterheads effectively blocks most of the air that would normally flow over the oil bud. The scoops are my last effort to get some significant cooling out of that oil cooler. If it doesn't work, I will be removing it and installing a Jagg.

This trip will also be a good test for the tune I got from Fuzzy. The little I've used it so far has been very impressive.

Mounted the GoPro mount ... think this will work well

Camera is not in the case as I'm using it to charge the batteries.

Yesterday I replaced the stock brake pedal pad with the Chrome ISO pedal!

Also finished putting Chrome Cap Covers on almost every exposed bolt.

I updated my Infotainment software to 1.18.31 which is the latest according to the HD website. Not sure what changed but at least everything seems to still work after the update.

Did my 20K service a little early; oil, Primary and tranny change, in preparation for tomorrow, the start of our week long trip to Tenn and NC for the Dragon, etc.

I might even wash and polish it tonight!

Rode 455 miles today across a good part of Texas today, and into New Mexico. 85 mph with a 30 mph headwind is Not a formula for good gas mileage.

Rode 200 miles through east Tenn ate at Farmers Daughter in Chuckey tenn then to. colbach HD in Morristown Tenn. parked beside a trike exactly like mine and a black one parked beside me. Dodges raindrop back to Elizabethton Tenn where we were staying.

Was down a tad under 25 mpg. Part of it is probably the slip-ons I installed right before the trip....I already have plans to changes those back to some proven ones I ran before.
