My picture taking ability is abysmal to say the least. They end up sideways when I try to upload them. I believe the issue is that I use an Android tablet.

Installed the TX and US flags from The ProPad on the luggage rack. Adjusted the rear tire pressure downwards to the recommended 26 psi. Both were 3 psi above !
Today I finally installed the 1.5" DK tank lift deluxe, and I removed the left heat shield. Let's see how the photos work coming off of my iPad.

The main reason I bought my TG now is because my job situation isn't very good, so I thought, since I have the money now (and won't later), that I better buy the TG now and be guaranteed I'll have something to ride for the next 20 or so years.
Besides my hips are starting to worry me. Maybe another 3 or 4 years on a 2 wheeler would be my limit. I sure don't see the option of "NOT" riding in my 70's and 80's.
It would be nice if I could afford 2 bikes. A 2 wheel and the TG
Older Sportsters are getting more affordable as an option to still get your 2 wheel "fix" every once in a while. They are a little lighter to deal with at intersections at a stop than a full dresser too.
I know this is going to sound dumb, but what is that lever over the passenger's floorboard for?

Last gen trikes did not have the amount of up/down travel for the passenger floorboards that the Rushmore's have. Thus, that is for the passenger with a short inseam to rest their foot on.
I thought maybe a brake for the passenger, or a kick starter. lolBrake pedal for mama in case you were going to fast .

Thanks. You'd think it would take the same effort to design that as it would to design a bracket to move the floorboard.

Nice looking mirrors Doug that will match your black trike beautifully. Was it difficult to install the DK Custom Tank Lift and have you noticed any difference yet in the felt heat with the removal of the left heat shield?Just farkle today; black mirrors to match the black 2+2 sweepers.
Thanks! The tank lift wasn't really difficult, but my son helped hold the tank up while I installed the kit. It would help to have three hands! The hardest part was putting the nut on the top portion because it's between the "ear" on the tank and the trike's spine. We had to remove one of the fluid reservoirs on the right side to tighten the nut, but it was about a half hour job.
So far the heat results are positive, but I have only ridden it for a couple of hours since the installation. I also removed the left heat shield, which I believe helped as well.

Ordered the satellite radio kit.
My wife and I went for a nice ride. I worked the last 16 days straight 75 to 80 hrs. a week. I had off today and the weather for Wisconsin was perfect. We only went about 150 miles but it was the perfect "recharging" I needed.
