Looking good Fearless, I'm pretty sure you're going to love them, my feet spend more time on them than the floorboards.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy Sh!t What a ride!
J&S jack was my Christmas present. Used it Monday and cleaned and polished the wheels. Had a nice glass of Bourbon and listened to the new Rolling Stones while working.😎
I just can't live with the stock Harley TGU footboard position. It is tucked much too close into the trike. Even with the mitigation of the catalytic converter placement on my new 2017 TGU, the foot positions are so much more relaxed after I installed the DK Customs floorboard extenders this morning. The instruction were quite clear EXCEPT for the removal of the three bolts necessary on the left floorboard to put the spacers in. I had errantly removed a bolt that did not require removal and couldn't figure out why the spacer strategy would not work and why I couldn't get the floorboard backing plate loose. After studying the diagram several times, I realized that the instructions did not call for the removal of one particular bolt and the removal of another on the plate to get it away from the trike.
When I figured this out, the rest went very smoothly and rapidly. I will be riding today to complete my 500 mile break-in and it is forecast to rain tomorrow so I plan to install the DK Customs Custom Lift Kit and my trike will be getting closer to the way I like them.
Wow, My 2017 TGU is now "right" with my DK floorboard extenders and my DK Custom Lift Kit. I personally found the installation of the lift kit to be a bit more challenging than I had expected because of the balance issues of my M8-engined trike. It seems to be much heavier on the left and when I just used a jack with some blocks of wood pushed up on the underside of the trunk cross member, I found the bike to be pretty scary in terms of wanting to oscillate or tip off the jack. Whew, I had a neighbor help me and after a couple of hours fiddling with jack stands etc., the install proceeded and was successfully completed without incident. My take on it is that although I am somewhat mechanically inclined, I think it would have been money well spent to have had a dealer I trade with do it for the 1 hour of labor they would have charged. Others may find it less difficult but I seemed to kind of ham-fist this installation more than I would have thought?
I took it out for a test ride and I realized that I just can't stand owning a Tri Glide Ultra without the two parts I put on. They are both terrifically additive and make the ride experience significantly better from my personal physiological perspective
I do have to agree with you. One would think by now that considering how many have raved about how the instillation of both the body lift and floor board spacer kits make the Tri Glide so much more liveable, that the Mo Co would have made them a factory install to start with or at least make them available in the big P&A book.
