Installed Christmas presents I got for us to enjoy on our Tri-Glide:
DK Custom Products Cooling Deflector Wings - hope they also deflect some of the cold air that comes up and over the tank
Viking backrest organizer kit 21997 for the Harley Queen to store her phone and glasses. This one looks identical to the H-D branded one sans the logo and it is only $65 vs $110 for the H-D version.
I left my Tri-Glide at home today.
Looked at the temp (22*) and borrowed Marys truck.
22* and sunny is not too bad, but when I head home tonight, 20* and dark is a lot colder!

Yeah, heading home last night (after dark) I saw several deer...including one right on the side of the road that I passed not 3 feet away from it.
Just leaving out now...checked the weather..."feels like 14*". Truck is heating up right now.

Took a little 120 mi. ride on the trike to p/u a Harley part - a little cool but nice.
Life is GOOD HERE IN CALIFORNIA (even though we have s--- for a governor).
Stay out of the nasty stuff and be safe. 60* plus here until the 1st is the forecast. I always ride on the 1st of Jan, I have been known to push the bike or trike out of the garage and ride back in. Weather is to take a dive for a few days around the 1st. Yes, same here on a New Years Day ride. Forecast to be cold...super cold for us. Low of 11 and high of 24. We'll go for a ride, even if it is not a long one.

Went out to the shop to do a little maintenance work on the TG today.
Saw this, and turned around and went back into the warm house.

Installed my new V&H slip-ons for the tri-glide. Installed the DK air filter and crankcase vent system and installed the Fuelmoto power vision. No just have to learn how to use the power vision.The V&H mufflers are just about as quite as the stock mufflers. The body is only about a foot long and the tips are about a foot long so it takes a mounting adapter to hold the mufflers.

I'll try......I've always had a real issue of posting photo's on this site!
Been meaning to do this for over a year...finally got around to it yesterday. (it was raining, so it made it an easy choice to not ride, but get some work done)
Between the loose factory tolerances, and the quality metal, I had a pretty good rattle going between the shifter shaft and the case bore.
Not anymore!
Remove linkage, remove shift arm, remove shifter pegs and shaft. Drill hole, thread hole, install Zerk fitting. Clean all metal out. Put back together. Grease gun to Zerk.
All quiet now.

What I did to my Trike today?
First of all let me start by saying I may have just got the new trike 1/10/18 but I had a deposit on it and buying stuff since 9/1/17.
So here goes the list since 1/10:
-DK Customs rear end lift kit (could not get the full lift)
-CVO smoked out front turn signals
-CVO airflow shifter levers and pegs
-CVO airflow foot boards front and back
-CVO airflow brake lever and pad
-Chrome tour pak rack with smoked out light
-tour pak interior lighting
-tour pak power port
-tour pak boom speakers with chrome trim
-tour pak smoked side lights
-tinted wind splitter windshield
-chrome windshield trim
-windshield bag
-CVO airflow cruizer pegs
-trunk light kit
still in the pile:
-CVO airflow mirrors
-smoked out fender tip light
I will eventually do the painted inner fairing chrome hand controls and chrome rims. But that will be awhile yet.
