Rode to work yesterday in 41* temps, rode home last night 37* temps.
Got up this morning and it was 31*...borrowed Mary's truck and drove it in.

Weather finally allowed me to take Harley's Pre-Rushmore Sundowner Smooth Deep Bucket Demo Seat for a ride. This one is Part Number 52093-08A and it has a wider riders (16") and passengers (14") seat than the Sundowner Rushmore Model. Much deeper rear pocket that nicely supports the tuchus and is comfortable to the tailbone area. Was able to get a 196 mile ride this afternoon

Pot 473 miles on Sunday including a roadside replacement of my shift lever. I carried the one I remove when I did the heel shift delete. Going to reinstall with red Loctite this time. Blue didn't hold. Is there a lever that won't fall off? I am thinking about drilling the bolt for a safety wire.

Busy Weekend
I had a very busy weekend beginning Thursday night. did the teardown for R&R of new 12" Mayhem bars and ended with installation of a decatted stock headpipe. A few takeaways from the handlebar war as in the handlebars and wiring harnesses being at war with each other. The bars won. For some reason I thought I could fish everything inside the bars. Not saying it can't be done, just not by me. Also, the TBW and right switchpack wiring harnesses are extremely tough. Had I not wasted 6 hours on trying to be Mr. Wiring ninja I would have had the whole job done in about 4 hours. In the end, I went external with the right side wire harness and the left internal.
Put about 250 miles on Saturday and I really like these bars. It steers a ton easier and I feel much more stable because of the extra width.

Installed my Honey's Xmas present . Bought her the Mustang backrest with extended arm rest's & Black Pearl studs across the back for Christmas. Also loaded it in the trailer for the trip to Florida in 2 weeks.

Ultimate Touring Tall Boy Heated Seat
My new to me Ultimate Touring Tall Boy Heated Seat. It's for 2014-Newer FLH and Tri Glide Models. Got it from Ultimate Seats Florida location and it was offered as a demo seat sale. A very comfortable seat for me. Only negative was my Mustang Backrest and Mount had to be removed. Replacement backrest along with tour pak relocator next. Only need better weather for more ride time.
Manufacturers Description:
• Same height as oem stock seat and 1 1/2" further back from stock handlebars.
• Driver section 17" wide. Passenger section is 15 1/2 inches wide.
• Total seat length is a full 1" longer than the stock seat.

I made an appointment to get my Clutch Recall taken care of. Also to get my 15000 mile check-up done. They quoted me $400.00 for the service. And that they are changing all fluids. $400.00, Is that right or a little too high?

To me that is very high but I do all my own oil changes and service checks as much as possible. Changing oil and other fluids is not rocket science just check U tube or such for tips and videos on procedure good luck Fred

Philip, I purchased a heated Mustand touring saddle for my 2018 TG about a year ago. It is a great seat and a big improvement over the stock saddle. I've had many CVOs and lately they've been equipped with the H-D Hammock saddle. This Mustang is much better imo. Enjoy.
My order for a Backrest for the recently installed Ultimate Seat and a Tour-Pak Relocation Kit arrived last week. Did a one person install of Relocation Kit this past weekend. Up next is installation of the DK Convertible Lift Kit, if warmer temps stay around. Eating this upgrade Elephant List one bit at a time.
