Did nothing with my TG today...or for many days.* It's starting to feel ignored.*
Been riding the Softail.
Won't be long though.* Gotta do some maintenance on the TG and then get it ready for a trip we're going on in less than 3 weeks.**
Going to be a first for us.* Riding the Tri Glide in Tijuana traffic and down the Baja California coast.
Many decades ago I would ride my Honda SL350 down in Tijuana...but things have changed!!!* Should be interesting!

Started applying the F11 Top Coat I bought at Sturgis. So far pretty impressive stuff. Had a long discussion with the F11 rep and the NexGen people. TopCoat people made me a deal I couldn't pass....and glad I went their direction.

Washed and detailed the trike after 500 miles, lots of bugs and rain in Illinois and Ohio.

I went out to the garage and opened the garage door and stood next to my trike and watched them give our street a Hot Shot. It will be at least a couple of days before I take it out on the new Hot Shot

We did a 500 mile run Sat and Sun through Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky backroads. Beautiful ride and no rain. Good to see the bounty and the nice folks we have in this great country of ours.
Tour Pad Organizer & Light
I've been playing wit lots of ways to "attach" the tour pad organizer and the swivel light to the tour pak lid.
I've tried lots of Velcro, Double Sided Tape, etc. to no avail. What always seems to happen is when the sin hits the lid, the adhesives get "loose" and the Light or Organizer will come loose. The Velcro doesn't let go, it's the glue.
Fixed that ...... got some JB Weld Plastic Epoxy. On the Organizer, I glued the "tabs" to the lid so the Organizer can mount too it. Was a tad messy, so, after it cures all the way, I have some sanding and a bit of satin paint to do.
On the Light, I mounted some velcro to the light and used the J&B Weld to glue the other piece of velcro to the lid.
Last night was my first night ride. The lows worked great. When I switched to High, my lights dropped down lower than my low beam and it narrowed down to a blue spot that filled about 2/3 of the lane right in front of meStopped by the dealer today and they said to come back tomorrow and they would look at it. Must have been assembled by the same craftsman who installed the speedometer that showed 80 mph while it was parked

Had to mod it a bit. Took a ride to the store to get mom some creamer, and the organizer stayed put, but, the swivel light came down. The backing plate stayed in place, but, the light came off the backing plate, like you where changing the batteries ... LOL ... always something.
Did a quick mod to keep it from sliding towards the back and falling ... just a piece of velcro to hold it. We'll see if it stays put now.

What I did.
Hi folks, What I did. Switched exhaust to true duel headers and new Drag Specialties mufflers. Also a Power Vision Flash to adjust fuel/air mix. Like the cooler temp of motor while riding without a cat system. Also much better sound. Now has a lil more pep and throttle response. The combo works for me.

Dropped my go-pro mount on the front fender and put an 1/8" dent/chip in it a week ago. Bought a chrome Eagle Head with gold beak fender ornament from J&P cycles, put it on, road it for 20 minutes, got hit with 3,735 love bugs, bought it home and gave it a good bath...
Saturday morning gave the trike a polish and wax. Then rode to a late breakfast and afterwards stopped by the dealerships "Remember the Ride" event. They had advertised test rides on 2020 models. Sadily, only saw one trike, a Freewheeler in Barracuda Silver Denim.....and it was sitting comfortably in the showroom.
