I had some time today to install the DK Rider Floorboard extensions, 2 problems arose of course. It took me at least 10 minutes and a box cutter to get the parts out of the packaging from DK, lol, and I had to get a breaker bar to get a couple of the bolts out of the frame, man they were in there with lots of lock-tite. Also installed an extended shift lever on the toe part.
20K service and new American Elite front tire. Had 20K on the original front tire.
Replaced my fork lowers with a set of polished ones I got off HD board. Can't believe after working on metric bikes the last 15 years, that I'd have to go buy 2 more allen sockets for working on H-D
Did a lot of cleaning today after the breakfast run. We didn't realize that Love Bug season had started so it'll be a couple of weeks before we head out again. It's just not worth a 3 hour breakfast ride and then 4 hours of bug cleaning, the whole bike looked like this.

Added DK Custom’s convertible lift kit. Very easy installation if one follows the instructions. Now, if things would dry out, I could take her for a ride and see how the ride is now.

Rode it -like I stole it
Perfect weather here in SE Louisiana . Got out about 3pm and took off for Mississippi Gulf Coast . Rode Hwy 90 all the way to Oceans Springs with a snowball/ nacho stop in Bay St Louis, MS . Getting real comfortable at interstate speeds on my first trike. I’m over 1600 miles now. Cleaned the bugs off before I put her to bed.

Went out to get in my truck. Raining like crazy. I looked over at my Trike in passing, I swear it growled at me. Not my fault.

I just installed a set of mighty mites from love jugs it's starting to hit upper 90's and 100 degrees
here in arizona i am hoping these cool this beast down in these temps also removed lower fairings
You will notice anywhere from 15- 20 degrees in temp drop with the Mighty Mites. The big plus is you are pushing the engine heat out the R S of the trike into the oncoming air

Finished up my DK Customs install the other day, took the bike out for a thorough thrashing, lol. Ran some PV logs, definitely going to have to adjust the ve tables, although that was the only change. Ran the PV cable under the tank, added a couple of washers to the rear spacers for a bit more air flow. Temps mid to upper 70’s bike ran in the 260-268* range all day.
