Those are the best things going ! I wish i would have knew about them years ago, i would have run them on all my bikes. Turned some buds on to them and they really like them too.

Installed DK Customs 1.5 inch tank lift with deluxe option and then took a quick spin on it and was amazed at the reduction in the amount of wind that has now been directed away from me. I did something that I haven't seen done before. I flipped the rubber bolt covers over and they fit nicely over the nut at the top of the lift bracket. I used Loctite but in the event anything loosens up those rubber boots should keep the nuts from falling off. I need a shorter 1/2 inch wrench to get a good bite on the left side nut and get it tightened down better.
Short ride after picking up my 2019 Kenetic Green.
I bought it a trailer so it can come with us on trips in the motorhome.

Installed My new Russel Daylong Seat. Took a ride around the block before the rain came. Hopefully a longer test ride is coming before the snow falls. Feels like I'm going to be Happy with the new seat

Replaced tail lights with LED bulbs.
I read in one of the treads about replacing your stock bulbs with LED replacements. I ordered some off Ebay....the cheapest price I could find....and just plugged them in. I did have to run the emergency flashers for a few minutes to make everything sync up and then tried the right and left turn turn signals. Worked perfectly. They do look brighter so all in all, it was an inexpensive modification.
5K Maintenance
Performed the 5K Service/Checklist this afternoon. Changed the tranny and primary fluids too.

Ordered my Power Vision and Thunder Torque inserts last night. Pulled the heat shields off the cat and rear header pipe. Cut open the cat and pulled the guts out. Tomorrow have to go to town and get gas for the Mig. Then put it back together... See how it sounds with the baffles out and the Thunder inserts in. Already pulled the packing out of the mufflers in the summer. May have to tweek the baffles if its to loud with them out. I know its still to quiet with them in without the inserts.
Today was scrape a knuckle, cut a finger chrome day, man there are some tight spots, lol. The weather was great (70's) and I got the right half of the bike done.

I got the rear bumper and trunk rack installed. Thanks to son-in-law for his help. Also changed out windscreen to Freedom Shield.
Got the Cat welded back together. The tuner came today... thank you D K Products for the fast shipping. Got it installed. Had a surprise when went to hook it up though... I had a wire plugged into the port I needed... I knew the plug was right because its the same one I used on my 2010 Ultra... Traced it down. It went to my light on the bars that let me know what gear I was in.. Since I'm only going to have the tuner hooked up long enough to get a good tune, it wont make any difference... I dont know how I ever rode for 50 years without a light telling me what gear I was in....
Bike sound better without the cat and smoother with the tune... Now to wait for warm weather to try it out...
You can program a field on the PowerVision to show you what gear you are in.

One of the previous owners had one of those , what gear your in thinies installed. Stoped desplayin numbers , now displays ENBut the #6 stills displays on the speedo !
Hope I can remember the sequence.
