Had a bunch of stuff I had to take to the shop yesterday. Loaded the trunk and the Tour Pak up and took it in.
Did not go in the shop, kept 6-10 feet away from everyone outside, while talking with them.
It was a nice ride there and back.

In honor of my mother and my children's mother (my bride) I purchased a lighted air wing tour pak luggage rack for Old Shiney and now waiting for it to arrive. My honey is so pleased with me for making our ride just possibly a little safer. We have wanted a higher brake light and discussed it several times. I will post pictures as soon as it is installed. So if anyone doesn't have a tour pak luggage rack...I have a premium rack I removed no pits or rust of any kind. Make offer and pay shipping. I'm such a good boy on mother's day. ride safe Fred

The Butler P mount and the Yeti kit came today. Wow, it's a great product.
The P mount fits the Harley right out of the box and the Yeti kit makes the system complete.
Mount and 20oz ring.
Here is the Yeti 30oz with the Butler lid and the Extreme Handle. Fits the 20oz perfectly and the Handle prevents the cup from sliding all the way down during bumps.
I posted sometime ago about looking into an action Camera well it arrived yesterday and today my Ignition switch alignment tool showed up also I may never need it but if I do I will have it. Now I have no idea how to use the action camera but it not rocket science I'll figure it out. I was looking at Go Pro but stumbled on to one Akaso with Professional's review in comparison if you can believe him well anyway I bit on the economical model. We shall see so try and mount one of those little suckers on a Triglide. Wait a minute not so fast nothing they sell you will work Rats... So Plan "B" next thought was to cast and shape a mount out of very expensive Firearm Action bedding material nah not on the Harley but may still happen. Taking a break from ticked off city and while doing a little surfing on the Net, I came across Camera mount that another rider designed for his batwing front and center windshield so it's on the way when it comes I will share it. Off to check the vitals on old Shiney riding tomorrow. Ride safe Fred

Did a bit over 100 miles this afternoon. As we rode into the garage, rain started. Good timing !! We are just over 800 so a week from today will have the 1000 mile check up. Talked to ProAction the other day & was told their parts supplier started back to work ,so, not too much longer I will have my 14" shocks & front forks valves to get installed. I don't care where you adjust the new HD shocks, they still suck. Maybe the 13" Pro's I had on the 16 for over 40k spoiled me. Anyway can't wait to get those 14's on. George set my last set & I never had to touch them. this guy has been building for many years.& not that far away in Pa.

That's great Bill. I haven't been riding much at all. First the lousy (and cold) weather then the virus restrictions and not knowing what might be open and now we're knee deep in a kitchen remodel so I've only got 906 miles on mine. Kind of hoping the new larger oil filter for the M8 motors will be available for when I do my 1k oil change.
Hope you get those new shocks real soon. I'm like you - once you've had them you can't live without them!
Did several hundred miles playing with the 14" Shocks and Lift ... think I have found the sweet spot ... will confirm tomorrow.
Bill and I don't think we need to be adjusting those shocks for us either. We were out for 158 miles today old Shiney ran great Eng. Temp 230-240 oil temp when we got back home was 225 it was a great day for a ride. You know I had to change battery in the fob at Sheetz in Franklin. I changed battery early in spring but it must have been an old one. No harm just swapped it for a fresh one fired right up you never know .travel safe Fred/Jeanne

Yes I agree but that is with a cleaned and combed out OEM oil cooler. We have not had warm enough temperatures to switch to the larger one I'm ready to try. I only have about 60 dollars invested in materials in it. I may not need to keep it on the trike if those oil temperatures stay there. I was pleasantly surprised the numbers so far. Ride safe Fred

I understand more oil is better and I do not plan on messing with the thermostat that is on it now. I don't expect any drastic drop in oil temps. I'm waiting till we get an 80 degree day to ride 50 or so miles and come back home and take a reading then do the swap on the larger cooler when it cools down. It will happen soon I'm sure. it was nice to see the 225 on the OEM oil cooler (cleaned and combed) I removed a pile of insects and road crud from it this past winter while working on fitting the larger cooler. thanks Jack I'm also kicking around going to Amsoil Oil your thoughts? Mobil 1 20W50 is what I have used since 2013 on the first oil change I done. ride safe Fred
