That is one sweet looking ride! The trike kit matches so well with the bike portion, naturally the color, but the styling does as well! Congrats!

the difference between a good trike and a bad one depends entirely on the integrity of it's builder!
Beautiful trike. I don't think I would be able to drag it around on the trailer, I would still be tempted to ride the trike.
"Here it is, waiting for the warm weather!"
Couldn't nearly all of say the same thing?
Sweet steed, Dakota. Very well done.
If you google "Drop Tail Trailer" you will get a lot of hits. They are made in Texas and I think they are fantastic!. There are a number of different models - mine was made to hold 2 smaller bikes or one large bike or trike or quad. What sold me on the Drop Tail trailer was 2 things: 1. The trailer folds in half and then stands upright on end so you can store it in the garage up against a wall and it takes almost no space!(you can see pictures of this on the various websites) 2. With the hydraulic lowering and lifting of the tail it is super easy for 1 person on their own to ride on ride off. Independant rear suspension, and tows like a dream. My model weighs 600lbs and has a gross maximum loaded weight of 2250lbs - plenty for any trike I have ever heard of!
Bought mine a few years ago as a demo unit from a dealer and paid $1,800.
Depending on the model I believe they are about $2,300 to $2,600 new now. You can even get them on E-bay and from a range of dealers in the USA, some of whom even have them on sale right now.
The only caveat: ensure that if you get one, no matter what model, it has the new upgraded and stronger mudguard mounts. On the earlier models, the mudguard mounts vibrated and cracked right through. Even if you re-welded them with an extra support bar, they would still break again. They replaced mine with new heavyweight mounts and better design to eliminate the vibration, and I have had no problems since!
Thanks everyone for all the nice comments about the trike!
ain't that the new motor trike kit called the razor ???? looks awesome
Nice looking ride. Hope to see you in sunshine state. will be in Daytona area in January.
