Call Champion with the year of bike and VIN number. If the kit was installed by an installer they requested this info for any warranty.
When our kit was installed,CSC required this info.
If kit was installed by the bike owner might be different.
Champion should be able to tell you what year kit was installed.
Hope this helps.

Left hand side of trike, underneath, on the trike frame. At least, that's where mine is. S/N is also listed on sales order, if you have that (Well, if you had that, you would KNOW what year.....duh) Also, is your trike a straight axle, or independant suspension? may be able to tell from that.....
Interesting. On our 2004 GL1800, there is a sticker on the right side frame of the trike kit just in front of the wheel behind the muffler. There is a serial number, Champion calls it a VIN, and the date that I believe the kit itself was manufactured, not when the conversion to a trike was done. It is also upside down. IMG_0139 - Copy.JPG I suspect the sticker comes separate in the parts bag and the installer affixes the sticker on the trike frame.
