Joshua Tree State Park

Pictures, pictures, pictures. I love Joshua Tree is a beautiful place. If you haven't done so yet you should go over to Death Valley.Great time of year to visit the desert.

Stayin in Vegas for a few nites waiting for the weather to turn so we can head up to the Grand Canyon. Go Pro batteries died at Joshua Tree so could not do any video there. Need a solar powered charger for all the electronic top-ups we need to do when camping. Will look into this.

Did the Red Rock Canyon today, a 13 mile twisty loop, also very gorgeous, got video there but cell phone died so I could not see my setup of the cam before taking off. Turned out not bad, need to edit and add suitable audio before posting.

Gonna try and do Death Valley in the next day or two whilst spinning wheels as mentioned, waiting for weather to turn.

Thanks Pegasus, it was already on the list.ThumbUp

Take care.

great country! zions , and brice canyons. coral pink sand dunes, vermillian cliffs, page az . could spend a month or so just wandering. lots to see . memories for a life time.

Back Home Now and we have in excess of 2 feet of snow. Yuc yuc double yuk. Loved the National parks and State parks but going to do it better next year so tuned. Trike performed well. Camping sucked due to sleeping in a cargo trailer when the tent factor crashed. Lotsa pics and video not sure how to share. 10,000km of travel on truck 30000 on trike. Oil changes all around required.Filters and all.

was hoping to meet up with a few folk on our trek but it is amazing how time passes.
Loved, both of us being in an area where first thing in the morning as we walk, coffee I hand walk to a wash room, a guy comes up with he's morning. catch of Bass

.Was going to Troupe to discuss issues it my install but thought better knowing what I now know and will be moving on to a different trike.
Stay Tuned.

Tak care

I don't know if you saw it on a map - Ridgcrest or Inyokern, but I was raised (11 years) at China Lake Naval Ordnance Station (it now has a different name, but I still think the China Lake portion is in the name.)

Anyway, we had very similar weather as Death Valley - another words 99% of the days from 1 June to 15 Sept. up to 115 degrees and quite a few 120.

It was a very smart decision to go down to that part of the country at that time of the year. Two parks you should put on your Bucket List are Yosemite and Yellowstone.

What part of Ontario do you live. I've sailed all the north shore of Lake Erie and all through the Georgian Bay. Have an aunt & Uncle in Orillia (well used to be) . I believe they are now in a retirement home in Peterborough.

Ride safe!!
