My wife and I bought Crusierworks boots about 4 years ago. She wears them frequently, but I seldom do since they never fit me right. The other day I did wear them for a ride. The next day I went to treat the boots with leather conditioner and noticed that the heel and sole of one of my boots was falling apart. Nothing had happened to cause this. I sent pictures to Cruiserworks and asked if they had any idea what would cause this. They have never answered me. I also wrote to Resole American, who Cruiserworks recommends for resoling, and they have not responded.
So today I took the boot to a local shoe repair shop, mentioned that I had no idea what had happened, and the owner said he could tell me exactly what happened. He said if you let the boots sit of a long time without wearing them, like six months, they will disintegrate. which is exactly what had happened. He bent the boot and showed me where there were additional cracks in the sole.
After reading so many posts about Cruiserworks great customer service, I'm surprised that they would not even respond to my questions.
