Can someone tell me how to determine which rake kit (degree) I have installed on my '08 GW Hannigan? I bought it used and the previous owner did not know.

I've never seen any markings on the kits itself Ken so I think you may have to do some comparison measurements. Find a couple riders that do know the degree of their rake and make measurements between the front fender (rear section) and the front engine cowl. The greater the distance the greater the degree of rake.
Hope that helps you out....

I'm like an old race horse..... I can still run the race -- Just ache more at the finish line and need more rest between outings.
Find the serial number on the kit. Call Hannigan and find who installer was. Call installer and have them pull records. Actually, Hannigan can probably tell you if they shipped a rake kit with the kit and exactly what it was.

Do you know where the original Owner had the conversion done?
I'm just guessing but you should be able to check the kit and bike websites and compare the wheelbase of the stock bike to the wheelbase of the trike kit. The do the math. Trike website wheelbase will be without the rake. Attachment 17709

Hate to disagree but, for example, from the Hannigan specs page:
Wheelbase w/Steer-Lite Kit Installed 77"
So, wheelbase w/rake kit is listed!
Now, this is with a 4.5 degree kit installed
The brand of conversion does not necessarily mean the rake kit usually related to that brand was used! Installers and buyers can specify/order a different degree and/or from a different rake kit manufacturer.
Tell us if you know where the conversion was done? Veritas44 can go from there!

Thanks for the input. It was a Honda dealer in Murfreesboro, Tn; no longer doing Hannigan's but I'll check with them next week and see if they have the information.

Sloan's.
More than likely a 4.5*
Probably be better served calling Hannigan instead of them.
Not known for helpfulness (Sloan's that is) after the sale especially to someone other than the original Owner (their Customers).
Still betcha it's a 4.5
Look at the triple trees. If painted black then it is probably stock. Difficult to determine the degree of rake.
