Hannigan ready to ship

Dealer heard from them today. Trike body is being crated and will ship today or tomorrow. Two months of waiting has taken a toll on my nerves. Of course, that's on top of five months with no ride. Yeah, I'm feeling sorry for myself but no one else will. I'M also dancing a jig pepper

Sure would like to know why it takes 2 months to get a conversion???? Seems like a long time to have to wait! I wouldn't think there would be that many sold to have such a wait!?

Congratulations! It'll really tear you apart once they start building your trike. I can't tell you how many visits to the dealer I made during the conversion process. Anticipation...

Big part of the time factor was due to being attentive to the paint match. I'm grateful for their dedication to detail. I knew it would be 2 months when I ordered because each kit is a custom job. Now I will haunt the installer whom I've known for 12 years.

Two months is very fast. they include the best of the best,
it is well worth the wait in my book. my 6 year old Hannigan
still looks like its only a month old. that's what you get for the wait.

and great customer service to boot. mine took 3 months

Hannigan EXTREAMLY busy during the winter months
as some of us can not ride for about 4 out of the year.

Yes the wait will drive you crazy , then it gets to the dealer and there is another
wait as well. the last thing that is REALLY bad, when all said and done, the trying
to get that S**t Ass Grin off your face for the following year or so.

As much as you may want to, don't rush the process. Non of them can, but if any of the trike manufacturers could promise to build and ship a trike kit in a week or two, I'd be scared to buy it because it would mean that either they had very little business or they were slapping their kits together, and you don't want that. Same thing with your installer, beware of those that promise a two or three day turn around, it takes time to do it right.

It's been 2 months for my CSC kit and conversion. So I understand your mental state! I hope to get mine some time this week, maybe. Like Zook said, no rush, take your time and get it done right.

My Hannigan conversion was slapped together in two weeks by Coach Rice Trikes. He was to busy picking up orders than to inspect his employee's work. The paint was garbage and I'm still working with Hannigan to get it corrected. At least Hannigan did your paint so you should be good. Enjoy and have fun!!

Yep the waiting kills you but as said worth the wait to be sure it's done right. You don't want to be having stuff coming loose or falling off cause the guys rushed the job. I've had my trike converted at the Hannigan factory and the guys there still took a week to assemble it once I dropped it off. And they are doing these conversions all the time so know how to do them right. Yes it does take time.

I had my trike converted the first week of February last year. After getting it home I couldn't ride yet (Michigan winter wonderland) so pulled the body and installed my version of an auxiliary gas tank, reassembled it all and waited for weather to break here so I could ride. I had a completely trouble free summer of riding once on the road.

Coach Rice did my RSV back in Sept. and everything came out great. I've had no issues so far. They also did Ragtop69's RSV with no complaints.

picked up trike last week. Crappy weather only let me put 110 miles on it. It is definitely a different ride. Already getting more comfortable. Feels secure.

</div>Keep up the good work! The more you ride the better you feel and the bigger the smile gets! I only had mine for 2 weeks and I get up each morning and look at the weather to see if I can ride. Get that sucker ready and make the trip to a Trike Talk Reunion. I am making my first long ride on the trike to the TT Reunion in Eureka Springs, I am ready, ready, ready.
