For those of you who might be considering installing Roadsmith's Comfort Controls, here's some additional information you may not be aware of if you also have Wing Boards installed.
I recently removed my floor boards which revealed this additional panel. I had forgotten it was there and thought I'd share this with those considering the Comfort Control option.
Due to the lower placement of the rear brake pedal, Roadsmith has a panel with a flexible rubber bladder that must be installed in your right Wing Board. This allows the bottom of the brake pedal to move slightly below the floor level of the Wing Board. As you'll see in the pictures below, you will have to cut the proper sized hole in your Wing Board to install this panel. I imagine that Roadsmith also provides the template for the proper cut. I had my Comfort Controls installed by the dealer I bought my Trike from so I never went through the instillation process.
I hope this information is helpful.
