    And ............................................
    The United States 4.2 !!!!!!!!!!!!

ALL (109) of the countries above the US of A have 100% gun bans.
It might be of interest to note that SWITZERLAND is not shown on this list because it has:
    NO MURDER OCCURRENCE!
However, SWITZERLAND'S law requires that EVERY ADULT MALE:
    1. Be issued a gun.
    2. Be trained in its use.
    3. Maintain Marksman qualifications .... regularly.
    (Snopes: http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/switzerland.asp )

Did you learn anything from this - like our politicians lie about the facts
in an effort to disarm and enslave us?

The message is - loud and clear -
GUN BANS AND RESTRICTIONS DO NOT WORK!

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."

well said my friend. its time we all woke up to the fact the politicians we elect to represent our will and collective voices just plain dont do the jobs they are supposed to.. in the real world, anyone so bad at their job they couldnt keep a single promise or deadline would be sacked without any fuss. but we are all stupid enough to let this happen, and vote in the next failure like we are going to make a difference.<br />
the people who dont want you to have what you want are the same ones dictating terms to the politicians...The super rich who fund the campaigns, they dont want the masses armed incase we wake up from our stupor and decide to do something about the nonsense.

Interesting, but total BS. For example, the Philippines. 100% ban? NO! Not even close. The only thing that is 100% is that you need to buy a licence and register your gun and that law just passed and hasn't even gone into effect yet. Similar laws apply in many of the other countries to for example, Jamaica. Ownership is not illegal. In some of those countries, you don't even have to register the weapon, just get a license for yourself.

The "TOTAL BS" is the abjectly Asinine notion that ANY "Gun Control" Laws curb Criminal Activity & Violence involving Firearms or otherwise what so ever. Typical opportunistic knee-jerk "Feel-Good" Nonsense from those with Nefarious Agendas and the Naïve, Plain & Simple that fall for and mimic their filth mindlessly.
The Post does contain ONE inaccuracy-the labeling of all listed Countries as having "Banned" Firearms.
    Otherwise, completely and factually correct.
The real and inarguable Point (see "Total BS" above) remains True, intact and proven.

In a nation governed by the people themselves, the possession of arms to defend their nation against usurpers within and without was deemed absolutely necessary. This right was protected by the 2nd Amendment.
    --Thomas Jefferson

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
    --Thomas Jefferson, 1764.

"The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that... it is their right and duty to be at all times armed."
    --Thomas Jefferson, 1824.

"A free people ought to be armed."
    -- George Washington

"To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them."
    -- George Mason

"I ask sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few politicians."
    -- George Mason

"Americans have the right and advantage of being armed, unlike the people of other countries, whose leaders are afraid to trust them with arms."
    -- James Madison

"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them."
    -- Richard Henry Lee

"A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves ... and include all men capable of bearing arms."
    -- Richard Henry Lee

"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves."
    -- William Pitt

"Our nation was built and civilized by men and women who used guns in self-defense and in pursuit of peace. One wonders indeed, if the rising crime rate, isn't due as much as anything to the criminal's instinctive knowledge that the average victim no longer has means of self-protection."
    -- Ronald Reagan

"There are those in America today who have come to depend absolutely on government for their security. And when government fails they seek to rectify that failure in the form of granting government more power. So, as government has failed to control crime and violence with the means given it by the Constitution, they seek to give it more power at the expense of the Constitution. But in doing so, in their willingness to give up their arms in the name of safety, they are really giving up their protection from what has always been the chief source of despotism -- government."
    -- Ronald Reagan

In other words, the only thing remotely accurate is the murders per 100K. By the way, not all murders are committed with a gun. People get knifed, beat to death, etc. You get the picture.

Nope,,, Can't say as I get what, if ANY, "point" you were/are trying to make.

However, taken both in toto and context,,,,
Your individual Ideology is VERY clear & apparent and That, I thankfully neither "get" nor follow.

You have no clue what my ideology is. My point is that the OP's method of trying to prove HIS point is bogus to say the least.

"ALL (109) of the countries above the US of A have 100% gun bans. " = TOTAL BS!!!! Thats my point.

well that really stinks! so much for my plans of seeing Uganda and el Salvador !

guess we will just stay home.... in the good ol U. S. A.
there is more to see and do in our own country than a person could see in a life time.

when the storm troopers come to get our guns , I think they better pack a lunch.

I think the only place I haven't been that I would travel to would be Australia.

Veritas44, well said, I'm certainly in your camp. Anyone who thinks our right to bear arms is not in danger, I'm saying, those folks are ignoring reality.
