Motor trike suspension in action video

I saw this posted in the "what I love about" section and thought it was too good not to post up here also. It's a YouTube video of the Motor Trike irs suspension "in action". Looks like they mounted a video camera to the trailer hitch? and recorded one side of the suspension while being driven with no body on. <br />

I have to admit, it's impressive at just how smooth the camera is with the amount of wheel travel that's shown. Most of the camera movement looks like it's from the wind at higher speeds than anything. Thought this may be worth sharing for those who are looking at trikes and wanting a way to see just how the suspension works.<br />

I got rid of a 2012 Spyder and had a 2013 Motor Trike Razor installed on my 2012 1800. We are happy campers so far. I am having trouble keeping my wife awake while we ride.

Incredible video...<br />
Cranked up the sound and now I know why I've been hearing what I thought was a kind of loud humming sound from the Roadsmith. The Valkyrie always did sound great and now I can only imagine how it must sound now !<br />

Definitely something you don't see when Operating one or looking at while static.<br />
<br />
ALL Manufacturers should do this to get a good comparison not only between Makes but also Designs.<br />
Be especially nifty to see both Sides of the Assembly in the same Shot in Operation like this.

</div>I get hit in the back of the head when she nods off and her head drops. That only happens on the interstate or long straight roads. One trip it started to rain on I26 coming down from Asheville. The rain hitting her helmet put her out like a light. She slept for over an hours. It was a peaceful ride for me. <br />

I have a nephew that is an Apachie/Long Bow pilot and another one in training for the Black Hawk. After five tours of Afghanistan and Iraq he says its hours and hours of boredom interrupted by a few seconds of pure terror.

I though it would be a cool to try the terror thing on my wife. You know how the mind wonders while riding down a boring interstate? The doctor says the one rib will heal but the other one is a total loss. The ringing in my ear will go ways eventually. I should get the neck brace off next week. I hope its not raining.
