Just wondering, being a Motortrike conversion owner, does the new Harley trikes come with a straight axle? Guess that I could look under one but this is easier for quick answer.

I am happy we can buy cars, suv's with independent suspension on all 4 wheels. Not build like the old Ford A. The were a rough ride.
looking forward to get the Honda Valkyrie on the rode with Roadsmith kit with independent suspension. Hitting a whole with one wheel, the whole rear end will not jump up and down. Just that one wheel.
riding smooth.
Front axle, solid one piece straight axle.
What ever rolls your socks up'n down. They cost more initially, & more upkeep also. I do think Harley should offer IRS if someone wants to pay for it. Should be options also for reverse, engine just to name a few. But there aren't many options. There should be a custom order book . But bean counters think that wouldn't be profitable while they sell almost everything they produce every year.

The argument of SA vs. IRS will go on forever! That is not what this thread is about.
Yes, the new Tri-Glide is still SA.
Having said that, I disagree w/part of the statement about IRS systems. Certain ones are NOT more expensive to maintain than SA's!
Longer wheel base IRS models are smoother riding that short wheel base SA and IRS models.
