I had to look over to the calendar and make sure I hadn't had a black out and it was already April 1st.I'd say they need to run as fast and as far away from their mechanic, he has some screws loose.
Baker plus 1 pan is suppose to add a quart of oil and cool the oil some..
Yep Baker has the +1, funny thing is there are a lot of folks running the streets with some monster motors running the stock pan. I've looked at the Baker several times but just don't see any benefit to me for the cost.
Mr. Wizzard recommends a quart of Formula + and about 16 oz of syn ATF with the install of the Barnett +1 clutch. I did it this winter but have not had an opportunity to road test. Mr. Wizzard has many posts, I've read most.. we can trust Mr. Wiz.
I have been running one and one half qts of redline in my six speed tranny for 25,000 miles to cut down on the terrible noise in first and fifth. It actually works and never a leak. Just won't work on two wheelers due to lean angle.
I think that is the primary with that much oil..
