So, when is to many Lights too much? I have seen a lot of Trike's and a lot of GW's covered in lights. Some look outstanding and some look like over kill. Back a few years ago LED's weren't around or as accessible as they are now. In earlier years you had to worry about to many lights vs. your charging system, and lord don't leave your ignition on too long without starting your bike or you could have a dead battery pretty quick. With the advancement of LED's you see people leaving their LED's on for quit some time with no threat of killing the battery. I wired all my LED's into a separate switch that is wired into a small 12 volt battery from a dirt bike. It is wired to my main battery thru a 30 amp relay which is wire to my ignition switch. So when my bike is just sitting in the dark I can leave my LED's (running off dirt bike battery ), and then when I start my trike it is charging the dirt bike battery as well as running my LED's ( and it is also charging my main battery ). I have been able to leave my LED's on for well over six hours with no effects to my main battery. Here are a few pic's of my Trike with the LED's on and a few pic's with all of my lights on.
So let's see those lights, post your rides pic's with the lights on....
