Hey Jack, you better hurry, we hope to see you at the Snowbird Gathering and talk a bit. If not on you trike, maybe you can come in a cage, and that's fine also. We have people in past years do that, come in their cage.
Please keep us updated on your progress and if you can, post pictures!
See you in Ocala!

Two things:
Does anyone run Michelin Primer A/S on the rears? If so, how do you like them, what pressure do you use, how balance, and how many miles on them?
Avon front trike tire update: How many miles: How are they wearing: How balanced: We heard a softer ride on the front of trike, true? Your riding habit..twisties or highway?
Thanks for your input!

My trike has been in storage in Alabama for the past three months, I have a question for the Florida gang.
I will need to change my battery when I get there, I've always used the EverStart battery from Wal Mart, but they are not a sealed battery any more, you add acid.
Goldwing owners, what do you use in Florida?
Does the Florida heat effect the life of a battery?
What are you running in your Goldwing trike?
Thank for you help!

NSB, Florida area, where is there a good tire place? Looking for Michelin tires, and a good mechanics who will not scratch the rims when the new tires are put on.
No help on the battery, but that's ok, because I will put the battery I've had before, can't go wrong if you can buy it from California to Florida.
Thanks for your help!
Happy New Year!

Due to our recent cold weather conditons, I had the opportinity to change the differential fluid and engine oil/filter.
Todat I am going to reset the front axle and fork brace if I can ever pull myself away from Trike Talk.

If you have a warm place to work during the winter months, it is a great time to work on your ride.
In the Northeast, when we put our babies away for months, we can get a lot done, and by spring time, have almost a new ride with all the new goodies!
Most of the upgrades I did, were done during the winter time, from lights to new tires!
Great to hear you are working on your ride.

No thanks, my Michelin tires have done me fine for years with lots of thread left, but "born date" is getting close, so need to take action soon.
They give us an excellent ride, safe in wet weather, and dry weather. They have a rating of 8+ out of 10, in a tire warehouse rating of over 2 million driving miles.
Thank you for your suggestion.
We will see you soon, at The Snowbird Gathering.

Had to tighten the bolt [1/4 inch alien] on the shift lever that connects to the Transmission shift mechanism [shaft]...10 minute job...But If you follow the service manual its major surgery...All you need is a 1/4 inch Allen on a long flexible extension , And tighten from under the trike...If that bolt gets too loose the lever will cause sloppy shifts or at worst it will just spin on the shaft and then you can't shift the gears...

Walked by the trike, in the garage, about 4 times today. Always stopped and looked at something, I see a couple of things that need a little detail. I will be doing a complete clean and polish in the very near future. Jim

Went and visited my TG at the Harley dealership where it's in winter storage. Listened to the new Boom! Stage 1 speakers I had them install. Sounds like they are well worth the money. Also tried out the heated grips. They got nice and toasty warm. They'll feel good when I'm riding on cool mornings this spring and fall.

Happened to my FLH, being the shift arm was cast aluminum, being loose wore out the teeth on the arm. The only way to replace the arm was to remove the primary. Replaced it with steel. Still a PITA. Ever since that it's a thing I have to shake it to make sure it's tight.
