At present, I'd be embarrassed to list how little I ride per year,,,.
just wondering if as an ageing group, are we riding more because we have more time (for those retired)
less because we have less time (mature, and responsible at work)
or are we about the same as any other group of riders.
for me im a 7 day a week rider. rain hail or shine.
i have had my trike for 8 months now and have clocked up 15,600 miles. over 7000 of that was done in the month we rode around the USA.
i was without the trike for 3 of the 8 months while it was shipped and made to comply with local laws.
i also have 2 other harleys and even though i have been favouring the trike (new toy novelty) i have also been clocking up miles on the others.
i guess i would do 30,000+ miles a year.
how about you...

Compared to you, I never ride. Although, my trike is not left in the garage more than three to five days a month. But it is all local riding and averages about 13000 per year. I am 73 and no longer take those long runs. Just ride for pleasure, wind in the face thing. If I do more than 150 miles on any given day, it would be unusual. Sorry, no longer a long milage, just a pleasure milage.

Love to ride, Love this bike
its all good, what really matters is that you enjoy the miles you do. smiling is never bad for your health
I'm around 10,000 miles per year, the short season here and work kind of limits me.

I put about 10-12K miles a year on my trike, with half of that on road trips anywhere from 300 to 1500 miles at a time. Here in Florida, I can ride pretty much year around, and in my area I'm not more than a mile or two from stores and restaurants.
Retired, so no regular commuting except for some volunteer work. Have a car in the garage, but it sees maybe 1,500 miles a year to carry supplies that are too big for the bike.
I used to ride 15,000 per year, all on Sundays. Now retired and ride about twice a week but amounts only to about 10,000.

Not sure if I have free time or I just forgot everything I was suppose to do.
Retired and highly recommend it.
20k would be a normal year for me. Most years. This one is an exception. Bad 2-wheel accident last Aug cut down on 4 months of serious riding. I'll be lucky to hit 10k this year. Full time work also.
Short season, getting old, about 10K/yr...
Between work and everything else, I average about 5k a year. But each year, weather permitting, the trike gets used more and more for general transportation. This is due partially to the fact that every year, I have less and less work to do it as it gets nearer to "completion". So I hope to ride even more this year and in the years to come.
There's a reason "smiles" rhymes with "miles"...

I usually put on around 15,000 to 17,000 miles per year. 10,000 of those miles are are put on in our 3 plus week trip every summer. Be safe and enjoy the ride. Larry

A lot depends upon weather and amount of PGR missions I received. If bad weather, then of course I ride less. And if I don't get PGR missions then generally the miles I put on are less.
I average about 20,000 miles a year. This winter I have not put many miles on however. Trike was being repaired after the collision with Jane Doe (deer) and the weather has not been the greatest in Florida this winter. Lot of rain and cold. We are able to ride year round that helps that total.

2019 Tri-Glide.......
About 12,000 a year. This past Fall was cold and that cut down on the totals. This year hope to do 15.
My biggest year on 2 wheels, was 31,000 miles which included a 7,500 miles trip to Canada and Mexico, but that was also when I was much younger. Just got my trike the first of February so this will be my first year as a trike rider, check with me next year.

Ahhhh, a hot cup of coffee and a good cigar, after a good ride.......
Our mileage has increased as time goes by
I am a WARM weather rider,
(makes HER happy also)
so my mileage is a bit less
With the run to Sturgis, we rode
about 6k last year in 6 months
Never kept track very accurately...I think maybe 5000 miles a year....Just got trike so no real history on that yet..

Bought my 2 wheel wing in November of 2010. Riding season is pretty much over in Massachusetts that time of year. From 2011 to July of 2013 I put on 9,000 miles. Got my bike triked in july and put on 4,000 miles between then and October. 400 miles in the past 2 weekends since I've moved it back into my garage for riding season. Still working full time or I'd ride it more.
5-10 thousand miles per year 2 or 3 wheels. ride when ever I can and a big trip some where south in the early fall ( after every one else are done with the vacation season and their kids are back in school.)
