While attending Daytona Bike Week, I was cruising the vendors on Beach Street and had the good fortune of meeting fellow cycle enthusiasts Gary Sipes and Keith Simpson. Gary and Keith spearhead the powersports team at Alliance Industries, the company who owns and manufactures BushTec Trailers, Bunkhouse Campers and Trigg Trikes in Jacksboro, Tennessee. Alliance also owns a couple of thriving Harley and Honda dealerships, so these guys know motorcycles and trikes and it was obvious that they are excited and passionate about their company.

Having owned a couple of BushTec trailers over the years, I was surprised and impressed to see how diverse BushTec has become. From several new Harley and Honda themed models to basic entry level models, to open-top pet carrier trailers, BushTec's display of dozens of trailers of every size, shape and color, drew a huge crowd all day, every day and business was very good. These are some nice trailers 'yall, great design and construction, and the fact that BushTec had their hitch install team rapidly knocking installations out on the spot, made it very easy to leave pulling a new BushTech trailer, Bunkhouse camper or Trigg Trike kit and many there did. These guys have their act together that's for sure.

While the trailers are nice, the real reason I was drawn to their display is that I've secretly had a Bunkhouse camper on my wish list for a very long time and seeing them up close and personal only made my fever that much worse. I want one! I want one bad! (If your reading this Marge, Christmas is only 253 days away). Bunkhouse is tops in my book for several reasons.

They have been building campers for thirty years, they are competitively priced and are known to be among the best built campers on the market, as confirmed by many of you here on the forums who own one.

The LX model would be my choice and comes with a king size bed, a built in canopy, twenty-eight cubic feet of storage space and is super quick and easy to set up.

Call me a wimp, but I'm from the deep south and we don't camp in the blistering summer months without A/C. The Bunkhouse comes setup for A/C and has room for storing a small 110v window unit, a small suitcase generator and plenty of gear under the bed and is available with electric hydraulic disc brakes. I like the disc brake setup a lot and as much as we pack, I feel it would be a necessary safety feature for us.

I like this company and I immediately liked Gary and Keith and their very evident enthusiasm and belief in their products. I mentioned Trike Talk and found that they were already familiar with the forum, loved the site and felt they would be a great fit here and I agreed, so here they are.

I'm proud to welcome them as a sponsor of TrikeTalk.com and would ask you to help me welcome them to the forum. If you are buying a pull behind trailer, a camper trailer, or a trike kit, please consider them as they build a fine product in all three categories.

Tell them TrikeTalk.com sent you.
