Bushtec Products Corporation has much to celebrate during the annual open house.

Bunkhouse's sister companies, Bushtec and Trigg Trike Kits, will join the celebration with their own accomplishments.
Trigg Trike Kits was acquired by Bushtec in December of 2013. By the end of January 2014, all Trigg operations were moved to the Jacksboro plant and the product line will join the Bushtec team during the 2014 Rally Season. The Bushtec line added new products, hitches, and standard features to the motorcycle trailer line throughout the year and continue to modify the product for better performance.

Keith Simpson, Bushtec General Manager, looks forward to the yearly event. “The open house is an opportunity to meet our customers and for our customers to see what goes into making their trailers.” This year is particularly exciting, “With Bunkhouse turning 30 and the addition of Trigg, we're excited to let riders see the products up-close, to get more familiar with what we truly offer. Bushtec is expanding and innovating to meet the needs of our customers. We're excited to show them what we're doing!”

Bunkhouse originated in the early 1980s from a design that originally mounted to the roof of a car. In 1984, the original Bunkhouse Camper Trailer was created to pull behind a motorcycle, featuring a king-sized bed. Additional features such as a dressing area, interior cargo hold access and a queen mattress option followed.

Over the years the design was engineered to become the trailer of choice for safety-conscious travelers that desired a camper that offered quick set-up and quality materials. Standard Bunkhouse features include UV-treated and waterproof 400 denier tents, fiberglass bodies, interior and exterior cargo hold access, interior cargo hold carpet, and 16-inch wheels.
Electric hydraulic brakes continue to be the most popular option. However, accessories such as air conditioning, changing rooms, upgraded wheels and a cooler package add to camping comforts. The most recent upgrade option, a camouflage tent, is now available. The balance of 2014 will continue to introduce new product innovations and options.
