you really should put in a short drive shaft ... ie two universals.. otherwise the trans and rear need to be dead nuts.... with no flex at all not doubting your ability but its darn near impossible...(yes there are those that have done it) you dont want the trans and rear dead nuts in line with the 2 universals... the shafts should be parallel but not in line... so the needles in the universal
have a chance to roll... there is a degree they should be off not sure what it is
