This is always good to hear! Kudos to CSC and especially Shawn. Well done.
On Friday the 23rd at about 1:30 pm (holiday weekend) the right rear axle broke on my CSC Trike at exit 4 on rt. 95 in Virginia. I called CSC which was108 miles fro me. Talked to Shawn. He loaded up a truck and a 16 foot trailer to come get my trike and trailer. Meanwhile a state trooper stopped and said I had to move the trike from the highway. The trooper called a flat bed and hauled us two miles to a Loves truck stop. Now the good part, Shawn arrived and loaded the trike and trailer. We got to the CSC factory at about 7:30 pm. we met another fine gentlemen, who said he was the maintenance man and gardener and he was doing a fine job at gardening. Shawn had us in and out of the factory with a new axle and in a motel room in an hour and half. I am very happy with the fine service we received from Shawn and CSC.

..if it has WHEELS, I'm in...ThumbUp
I owned a CSC kit before my present Trike. CSC was always helpful. We are lucky that no matter what kits we have, most of the conversion companies seem to provide great service to their customers.
What makes a company great are the employees that are willing to go above and beyond.
My hat's off to Shawn!
Thats great service ???? BUT WHY DID THE AXLE BREAK ???? Is there a problem with these axles breaking ???? MAYBE THEY WERE SURPRIZED YOU WERE ALIVE TO CALL & TELL ABOUT THE BROKE AXLE ??? Now I wonder if my AXLES are going to break ???? THINGS TO THINK ABOUT ?????
Bubba 49, Shawn's boss stayed at the shop and waited for us and stayed until the the repairs were done. He also got us a motel room. I did e-mail CSC to thank them and told them about Shawn and his very good custom care service.
So what happened to the axle ? why did it brake ? was there any other damage ? were you diving 70 miles a hour when it broke ? wasnt there somebody else on here a month or so go that had a axle brake ? I have a 2008 gl1800 csc at 5500 miles replaced a bad left wheel bearing & the drive shaft , I just wandering if they have bad axles that I should be replacing ??
Road Dog, my trike is a 2012 with 33000,00 miles. At 75 miles a hour the outer cv joint on the right side let go. The engine revved I herd a clunking noise applied the brakes and pulled over. No other damage at all.
Did you see the cv joint was it worn out , did it break , what caused the failure ? you see car cv joints with 150,miles no problem. I think if you look at the angle the drive axles are on you can see there is going to be a problem ? 33, miles to bad you didnt get pictures of the axle ? I would think with that axle flopping around there sure could have been a lot of problems & damage , You sure were LUCKY ???
