I have not had a chance to get a SM yet. Does anyone know how to adjust the drive belt on a 2010 Tri Glide ? Also the amount of tension ?
Thanks,
SR

So The tension is the same as my Street Glide. Thanks a lot for the thread it shows the tension but not how to adjust.
Thanks,
SR
On the picture with the caliper tool on it. loosen the 4 bolts and there is another to move the rear axle back and forth to tighten or loosen the belt tension.
You will have to take off the wheels to see these bolts to adjust the belt.
Good Luck
Thanks a lot

Red Ultra Powered By Head-Quarters 120, Easy Clutch Pull By ClutchWIZ. 2012 GL1800 Hannigan. I've yet to ride a stock Harley which wasn't in need of a mechanical intervention.
How do I make sure alignment is good ? On my 2 wheeler it has cams to keep it centered.
Thanks, SR
You have to adjust each side the same amount of turns and measure both sides to make sure they are within spec. If one side is greater than the other and you have to back it off a some, you have to push the axle against the adjuster screw after you have backed it off.
