Funny thing, The Ohio rally was last week and we had a Major trike dealer (CSC) show up to demonstrate trikes. first of all THANKS to them for showing up... its a real coup when you get a tier1 vendor so attend.
I noticed one thing in particular about their new kits.
they have Narrowed the width of the rear tires.
I asked the rep, and he told me the they went to a smaller tire to reduce hydroplaning, and increase wet traction.
AHA...
:clapping:
I had also noticed that Motortrike got rid of those Fat Goodrich Ta's and slimmed down their tire.
I had been saying this ws a problem for over 2 years, and most recently after last year when my friend and I were in an accident. an accident where he could not stop on water and I could. the only difference between the 2 of us was I had narrower hydro-edges and he had those fat Ta's. (which are still good tires).
I would like to think that some of my letters and preaching to them "May" have done some good...
I'd like to think so
but anyway the tires are smaller... Kudos to them!!!!
