A ride to big bear lake

Last weekend 6 of us rode about 140 miles out and 1 1/4 miles up from the valley to Big Bear Lake Ski Resort. There is about a 60 mile short cut, but Harley riders never do short cuts. Here is 2 days and about 300 miles condensed into 3 minutes

A lifetime ago I lived in Lake Arrowhead for awhile. Some great roads in those parts.

Couple of those roadway shoulders didn't look wide enough to pull off and let the trike cool off for lack of oil coolers, fans, programmers and custom tunes. You must have kept on triking..Looks like a nice outing.

Oil never got any hotter than 260* even running the desert without oil coolers, fans, programmers or custom tunes.
