Any body watch OCC last night? They made a beautiful trike for a customer. They used a generic body, and a really neat looking rear end set up, double shocks, belt drive.

Yeah I saw it. It was a Mystery Designs rear end setup with the detachable body center section. They used a lot larger wheels and had the wheels and fenders way offset to the outside to make it look wider and much more racial. Looked pretty good.

I particularly don't like it and have seen a lot better customized trikes that I bet are MUCH cheaper! But of course I would take it if they gave it to me free!

Last nights was a sharp red, not the one they made for Brian. This customer was not, without the use of his legs.

The video was from the contest they ran a couple of years ago - they chose 4 people & built custom bikes for the winners. Bryan was handicapped, so they made his a trike. As usual, very nice paint job - I think that was the first trike they'd ever done, and considering they had to modify it for someone needing all hand controls, I thought they did a pretty good job!
Last night's show was a guy who's having trouble staying on 2 wheels and decided to get a trike, but he doesn't like the "boxy" look of regular kits so he chose OCC to build a chopper trike for him (which tells me he has some money to burn! LOL). I loved the paint job, and it was sort of "sleek" looking like the customer wanted, but definitely not my cup of tea. Had to laugh about the "issues" with the reverse - you'd think they (OCC) had never seen a bike/trike with reverse before, or that they came up with the idea on their own!!! LOL

Nice video. Great to see someone that REALLY wants to ride RIDE
Stallion #406 // 2013 Tri-Glide
I remember that episode. Great looking trike. They really made it easy for him to ride with auto everything. Ken
I am not crazy about the looks of anything that OCC makes really. I agree sometimes the dialog is like very lame .
I watched the OCC program wednesday evening where they built a trike for the Reeves Foundation. It was nice but the average joe couldn't afford it. It also seemed like they were trying to put across that it was the first trike built by anyone for a handicapped rider, which it is not. JMHO
I'm with John, I don't care for anything they build, or them either. Just MHO
"Beer is Proof that God loves us and wants us to have a good time."
They get paid a lot of money to act like idiots, I know it's show biz but I myself do not like it. So I do not watch it.

Sorry I forgot to mention that me and the boys went down to OCC 2 years ago and went to their rip off gift shop and gallery ( some of the bikes they made for the show were there ) filthy dirty , welds looked sloppy ( I can't weld and some of mine come out better ) Up close ( they let you only get within 10 feet of them) they did not impress me at all. A friend I have was good friends of Big Paulie ( they baby sat for Mikie when he was 4 ) We live only 1 and a hours from Rock Tavern, NY Home of OCC
We lived in Rock Tavern for over 20 years. Knew them before they became famous. My cousin, who drank himself to death, was Sr.'s partner in the steel business. They used to work out of the back of Sr.'s pick up truck. The old man got it all. Now they are too famous to talk to commoners! Mikey joked at a show in Michigan when asked, where is Sr.? His reply,"you were too cheap to pay him". And just try to get an autograph with out buying over priced sh** from them at a show. Now Sr. and Jr. are duking it out in court over the value of the co.. Sr. is trying to buy out Jr. after he fired his own son! The whole family is fighting with each other. And what they did to Vinnie is a disgusting. And to the one before Vinnie, even worse. They have burned a lot of bridges on their way up. Tom
Yes I was told he was almost the Town Drunk..... Also that Americade kicked them out of town . They were charging $5.00 for an autograph. they have not been back since. I heard the SR Jr battle was on but not anything about Vinnie what the scoop ?
The straw that broke Vinnies back was when a Hummer Dealer DONATED three Hummers to them. He specified to them to Sr., Jr., AND Vinnie. Jr. says no. I want to give one to my girlfriend. Dad sided with Jr.. Family is family, no? Wonder if the same thing would happen today? The guy before Vinnie was Dee. He was the family friend that taught them how to make bikes before they even started the co.. Once they "knew everything", Dee was tossed out. Dee opened his own shop down the road in Newburgh. Not far from the "OCC Castle". Tom
Probably the best thing that's happened to him professionally. He & Cody seem to be doing well with their shop....in one of the interviews he said the custom bikes they build "average" 45K!

Seems a shame that due to the competition American Chopper is among the top three motorcycle shows in the country.
It just goes to show the state of TV program quality these days. Reality shows are big. It's a shame the real truth about Sr., Jr., their business dealings and how they manipulate people are not portrayed. The steel co. bankruptcy case was settled out of court. They paid $500,000. But no mention on the show about it. They are still involved in a case in court involving the new Yankee Stadium. Sr., and Jr., are in court suing each other. The list goes on. Their bikes look good on camera. They are works of art for sure. Tom
