Mary and I took a long weekend to ride down to south/central Alabama. This was our first trip on the 2014 Tri-Glide and we really enjoyed it.
As much fun, and as comfortable as the 2011 was, the 2014 is even better!
Getting ready to take off-
Forecast showed some rain, and it started sprinkling before we were even 2 miles gone. It was warm though, so not much bother.
A bit down we had put on our rain jackets when it looked like this-
Then it looked like this-
And then like this...Mary put the camera away after this shot-
After the above it was coming down hard...so hard I almost pulled over. The TG handled it all without any problem. I'm running 38 PSI in the front tire, 22 PSI in the rear tires, and 28 PSI in the rear shocks.
20 miles down the road it cleared up and we only had a few light rains the rest of the trip.
Off the interstate now, and onto some nice country roads. The TG ate em up. The new front end is much nicer!
Crossing in to Alabama-
Can't see all of it, but this is a nice long (3/4 mile) uphill sweeper. I've ridden this a dozen times on the 2011 and it handled it just fine, but it was even nicer on the 2014.
Mary likes the cloud pics!
