I've heard nothing but good things about VTX trikes, no matter which conversion.
Stallion #406 // 2013 Tri-Glide
From what I understand any trike built on a 1200 cc platform ( motorcycle ) or larger will do just fine . The 900cc and lower can be a struggle on long hauls and 2 up riding . a guy was at a cruise night with a 883 HD trike . (VERY COOL ) but he said strictly an in town no high way bike . great 0 to 40 performance than it is all over .
This is our second trike New 2007 Vtx 1800F --only have 135 miles on it but i can say it has more power than i will ever use !!!
We just sold our first trike witch was a Susuki Blvd w/a Tramp/Leman convertion. We two up'ed 10,000 miles on it in the 65-75 mile speed range it it did fine.
Disappointed with Leman customer relations but the Suzuki was trouble free
