Over to nearby Waynesville for our meals at some good restaurants, a walk down Main Street to some interesting shops ( the Ladies will like this street with its art shops, coffee shops, furniture shops, etc.) best cheesecake we've had in years and a selection of all my favorite fudge flavors and cakes.

then on to Smoky Mountain Steel Horses, also in Waynesville ( Victory and Indian Motorcycles) to see the bikes, grand Opening this Saturday, the new Indian Scout won't be on display till then.
Maggie Valley was very QUIET except for loud pipes, which the room air conditioner fan easily downed out. The Best Western was very clean with friendly staff, mostly empty.
After 2 nights, returning home, Lunch in Gatlinburg at the Alamo, have never seen Gatlinburg with so few people on the street before and the same for Pigeon Forge. Won't have to worry about crowds, although the wheels thru Time museum was pretty busy. Really liked Waynesville, Wife would like to move to there. So, good weather, no crowds, no leaf changes yet, still all gorgeous green, great roads, Believe all will have a good time next year.
