MSRP decreased to $24,995.

Just pickup the candy orange Stallion from Trike toys on 5/26. Very happy so far. Have a lot of work to add everything, CB/Intercom, GPS, exernal battery jumper point, rack etc. Could use some help on locating the external battery posts.

Thanks to all the posts we selected this ride.

If your are going to Maggie Valley, you can look at mine to see if it is what you want and then you can go to a Auto parts store to get the parts. 30-40 bucks, couple of holes in the trunk, about a hour to do as you need to pull the right wheel off and on then complete.

Good deal

Also add a Battery tender hookup, my wife's is on the left floor board, so the trunk does not need to stay open to trickle charge during the winter. Also I made up or purchased a set of jumper cables to connect to the same plug.

Also added to 3 power ports, one at the console, one for the back seat driver (our 9 year old) and one in the trunk.

Run a stereo cable from the radio and install a jack up front to plug MP3 or GPS into the Aux.

Add more speakers to the front if your are a music person, see big Dogs mod looks the best. I have a set of 6 inch speakers added to the dash under the wind shield, sound is great looks are not super. The kid doing the work added a amp in the truck and basically the sound can push the trike down the road.

Martin; Congradulations on your Stallion purchase.. You will enjoy the ride and get use to all the lookers and the questions, and can I take a picture We love our Black Cherry...Charlie D & The IMP.

Martin, what can I say, you bought the best. Now your talking with the rest of the best. We all can and will help you with your ideas and suggestions. Looking forwar to see you at Maggie Valley.

Is there a specific place where all the stereo related posts could go? I've seen a few of the installs such as Big Dog's, Fortsand's (what ever happened to him he hasn't posted lately) and one other one that I can recall.

If I get a Stallion that is one area that I am going to really hammer it on and that is getting a good system put in even up to out and out replacing the factory unit and making it Ipod friendly on top of that.

Lunchbox could you post some pictures of your set up as well, even if you think those six inchers don't look that great (I would hope they sound great anyway) I would still like to see how they look on top of that dash and your amp set up if you have one.

Thanks,

Dennis

I am replying to the base price vs. loaded price. When I bought my blue one in March, it took some inquiry as to why some dealers had lower prices. I think the ads could be clearer. I decided on fully loaded but can understand why dealers want a lower entry point. The attention I am getting as I run my errands is well worth being an early adopter. You always have to decide whether your price paid is a good value for you. We got rid of our second car and so far it's working for us.

A few questions:

1. Does anyone know how many Stallions have been manufactured to date?
I assume not too many, as there are still some new 08 models for sale.

2. Has anyone found a Stallion dealer offering a better deal than MSRP?

3. Would like to know what kind of problems owners have had with their 2009/10 Stallions.

4. I have been told by a dealer that production of the Stallion has been stopped due to problems with parts suppliers. I hope that isn't true.

Thanks,

Jim

I think they all stick to MSRP, the only difference I have seen is the dealer in Summerville, SC does not charge for shipping, and she adds a few little extras, (battery charger, charger hook up pre wired). Very nice people to deal with.

We have a 2009, no problem other that the stereo controller in the dash came broken (replace under warranty) and our hood is about 1/8" to 1/4" out of alignment, you really have to look to see it, other than those items flawless.

I think TMS just stuck it to the customers who paid the $32,995 plus tax. Which I did. First they said you could take the Stallion to any Ford dealer. Wrong. I live in chicago area & none will have anything to do with it. There add does not say stripped down model.I know a lot of dealers use this site. Maybe good for you but not me. This machine was engineered great why do the have to sock it to us that way? I bought a trike with air because I think it was a great idea and should be kept that way. Had HD all my life, if I wanted to put up with heat in traffic I would have kept the HD.

No longer a happy customer.

Dear Rich: Did you sell your stallion or just delist it? Are you now riding a Harly again or did you come to your senses and keep the stallion?
