F4 +4 windshield

About a month or so ago I had my honda dealer install my windshield. Wy wife says she can't see any difference in it and the stock shield as for as blocking the wind .

from the rubber strip in front of the shield to the top mine measures 23-1/16 inches. Is this the max if it's raised to the full height ? Has anyone measured there's before?

Our F4+4 measures the same Snake. We also have a full set of air wings, they also make a big contribution to reducing the buffeting for the back seat.
On the first ride after we traded for the 2012 last year the boss commented that I needed to put the F4+4 on before our next ride.

Before buying my trike, we owned a 2006 GL1800. The missus was buffetted all over the place. We did three things to fix the problem.

1. New Helmet - old helmet was open face and had gotten loose. It blew up from the wind blast. New helmet that fit snug and has a full shield with built in sun visor did not blow around as much.

2. Baker hand wings - These greatly reduced passenger buffeting

3. KuryAkyn Air Foil. - this piece of plastic mounts behind passenger backrest and cut out all buffeting.

Our trike came with a Tulsa Tall windshield. (GL1500A) There is NO buffeting behind that thing which is REALLY tall and wide.

Problem is visibility. I have since changed to Windbender shield and it works almost as well but allows me to see over it. The Tulsa Tall was almost dangerous if you had been riding in light rain and bugs and then when it got dark, the crud on the shield would dazzle when headlights hit it... I like to look over and didn't like to have to clean the shield every few miles to be able to see. Others will disagree but that is my preference.

Thought +4 wasn't adjustable like the +2 is?.. Air Wings really kill any buffeting Ive found. Really love my no vent/tinted F4+2

I have a custom f4 +4 tinted on my 2010. I installed it myself and I like it. The installation instructions say it is not adjustable, but it very much is. Just lift the handles and move it up or down. Push the handles back down to latch it

I couldn't find the air foil ??

That rear air-foil has been reported by most, including me, to be mostly useless, unless the passenger is very short.
Tried one when they were first introduced. Wife is 5'8"s tall and we found it didn't work as advertised! Wife said, no difference at all.
Wasted $120+!!!
Don't believe Kury even sells them anymore!!!
There were some that praised it's benefits but, my asking specific questions revealed most that liked it were short, as previously stated.
Mine ended up in the trash:NoJoke:

I have a windshield that I pulled out of my garage which is 23 high and 30 wide. I think it is a Slip Streamer but not sure. I know it is twice as thick as the stock that came on my 2012 Wing that I changed out the first week.
If I were to go to the F4 would I need the F4+2 to get that same size?

Couldn't find the Airmaster rear airfoil on KuryAkyn's website but it is still being sold as close out at JP Cycles:

(sorry about long link - you can also google "KuryAkyn Airmaster rear airfoil" and it comes up in different places for sale)
