If you are going to run a scam, seems to me you would put a very attractive BUT reasonable price out there and use some pics that were in focus... also, if you run the scam on CL, to NOT post the same ridiculously low priced bike in 48 different state CL sites.

It's "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is." Why would anyone sell something for less than 1/2 price? Stay clear of it.

See them on CL all the time. Not just bikes but cars and boats and just about anything of much value. I guess there are some people out there that fall for them. I just flag and go on. You aren't going to find any kind of trike unless it is 30 years old or has 300,000 miles for much less than $10K. JMHO

I have seen repossessed and/or Katrina flood bikes at these prices.
Maybe if I were looking for some body parts or something I would look at first hand and decide?
Salt water is a game changer and you would likely spend as much putting it right as buying one at regular price?
The wing is an exceptional bike and if these were good machines you wouldn't see so many of them out there?

The first thing I notice on the add is that the dealership name is not given, any real add by a dealer would list the business name and not just the individual this would immediately raise a flag, IMHO this is a scam, I own a VTX 1300C and its not triked and the market value for it is $4000-$5000 thousand dollars the 1800s bring even more if in good shape, add the trike and this price becomes ridiculously low.

there is no trike for sale. they are after your email address. answer that ad and your inbox will blow up in a couple of days. I found my bike for sale 6 months after I bought it. it was a new ad. they find pics on the net. no one will answer your questions. stay away from oddle.

If it sounds to good to be true ,,,,,well you know the rest . See this type of thing a lot on Craigslist and like the other just ignore .

I think if I were going to scam I'd make it a great deal but not a give away price but the ones doing the scam know some can't resist the ideal of getting some thing for nothing . Have you ever thought at this price it would have to be advertised in a add ,,hell just put it on the corner and it's gone by the evening !!!!
