<img src="images/smilies/grin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="big grin" class="inlineimg" /> Don't have a trike yet but I really like the idea of one. Still in the honeymoon stage with my 2013 Honda F6B after having a long line of Ultra Classics and Road Kings.<br />
<br />
My wife and I ride two up all the time (<img src="images/smilies/thumbup.gif" border="0" alt="" title="ThumbUp" class="inlineimg" />) and we ride the mountain roads all around Our home in Gatlinburg. Just retired March of this year and lovin' it!<br />
<br />
Here's why I want to learn more from you guys about trikes ...<br />
<br />
Tired of worrying about keeping the bike up all the time during short right hand turns into a parking spot or at the gas pump or coming to a stop sign on a steep incline that slopes off sharply or stopping quickly to make it into an antique shop parking lot and finding it all soft gravel or etc. & etc.<br />
<br />
Not really liking beautiful but narrow mountain roads with lots of left turns where the shoulder does not exist and the drop off is nearly vertical. I hate having to lean left into traffic for the sharp curves while being a little scared of wandering too far to the right.<br />
<br />
Just backing out of our garage and turning around on the steep driveway can be way too exciting.<br />
<br />
Anywho ... Just starting to think I could really get into the stability of a trike.<br />
<br />
Glad to be here ... Will be lurking around. Thanks!<br />

If you are looking for someone to build one in your area just ask?<br />
There are plenty of good trike kit vendors belonging to this forum.

Pcombe doled out some good advice. Personally, I think a triked F6B would be great! Keep us posted on what you decide!

</div>some of the same reasons I decided to trike my 2010 Goldwing with a Roadsmith conversion. I was never able to get really comfortable riding it, now that I have the trike I love it more every time I ride it, the feel and comfort is amazing. Welcome to the forum, safe riding.

Welcome to Trike Talk from SE Missouri. Glad you found us and all those reason are why I went to a trike. Ride safe and have fun.<img src="images/smilies/grin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="big grin" class="inlineimg" />

I'm riding a trike for all the reasons you listed. There is one you didn't list. "They are fun". I have no medical reason for a trike. I love it. A trike is a gocart on steroids.

<font color="#0000cd"><span style="font-family: comic sans ms">I love my trike. Sometimes I ask myself why did I wait so long? I guess it was the ego thing. I honestly think that was really dumb, retrospectively speaking. I miss leaning into the curves of the winding roads but, I really feel safer now. And I dont have to worry about when I stop if my feet will hit the ground or if my bike will have to lean a little so I can touch the ground. And I so-o-o-o-o love reverse! <br />

Welcome to Trike Talk an I sure look forward to reading your posts!<br />

If you haven't found it yet, here is a great resource- http://www.triketalk.com/forum/threads/242-Making-The-Switch-Bike-to-Trike-Great-Info!

We are another that didn't trike for medical reasons. I have a 1990 HD FLHS and a 2013 Triumph Bonneville, both of which I love to ride. Like the trike just as much as the 2 wheelers. Gloria got our first trike on 1993 - she hates to lean over, but still loves to ride. 3 wheels give her peace of mind and comfort.

Welcome from Southeastern Illinois. Went to the trike because of the wife's health. Had many reservations on getting a trike. Studied and studied on it.
Finally deceided to go for it. Never been so wrong in my life. Just love it. Both of us. And what do they say, you meet the nicest people in the triking community. Again Welcome.
