All of those trike kits are excellent. You can't go wrong with any of them! It will usually come down to personal preference on appearance, dealer availability, and of course whether or not you want independent suspension. You will love whatever you pick !

Hello, I like to thank every body for your warm welcome to trike world. Fast on action, slow on a decisions. As the trike comes, pictures will follow. I have narrow down to DFT IR supension or Champion air shocks. Well time will tell. Big difference but you got to pick and let the fun begin.

I have the DFT for 9 years now no problems .Great ride. The new Champion IR is also a great trike good luck. Not a bad choice what ever way you go.

Yes it is Darn Fine Trikes, They are built in the Chicago area. And as far as I know they only build independent suspension. An excellent built trike, from my experience with one.

Only trike that uses the original rear of the Goldwing and braking system . A trike built by DFT retains Anti lock brakes as it uses the original Honda rear brake . Yes only one rear brake . Does seem to work just fine too.

DFT is a very good machine. I meet the company owner and he was willing to do anything to make the customer happy.

The new Champion IRS if it is anywhere as good as their past products will be a real winner right our of the gate.

Any of the trike kits you mentioned would be a fine choice, all are well made by the respective factories. The installer is the key. Get a good installer and the biggest choice is live axle or IRS. For me, living in the Ozarks and mostly riding twisty roads, solid axle is a bit more responsive. For the long rides on the slab or straighter hiways like in the Dakotas, Minnesota, Kansas etc. IRS would be a bit more comfortable. It is pretty much of a toss-up.
