Turns out sitting a bit farther forward on the stock seat maybe the issue..
Went with the comfort seat and is 2 inches farther back seems to have helped with the cramping of my right leg when using the brake pedal..
Been getting easier to use the more I drive the new Bike..
Is this your subtle way of announcing that you went ahead and bought that RT you were considering?Been getting easier to use the more I drive the new Bike.

Yes Sir and very Happy I went ahead and Traded the Tri glide for the Can Am..
We took a nice ride today and I can say I don't feel all beat up riding it like I did the Tri Glide..
Congratulations ~ we'll be looking forward to your pictures (natch') and experiences with your new toy. I'm especially interested on your impressions on the 1.3 liter ACE engine and SE6 transmission.

So far I like the low end torque and the semi automatic trans is so much nicer than using a clutch..The paddle shift is really impressive once you get the hang of it after a few rides. Nice not having to use hand brakes or a clutch.. It does have a lot of get up and go when shifting thru the gears..The suspension cushions the rodes very nice too..

I find that there is a lot less wind blowing on me and the passenger..But did go with the optional vented windshield and adjustable side shields if I do want a bit more wind blowing on me..
We got our 2014 Cognac RT Limited on Aug. 30 and now have over 500 miles on her already. I'm switching over from a GL1800 trike and it is definitely different. I'm really liking the SE6 transmission. I also have the same issue with the brake pedal position and have not found a solution yet. I think some kind of extender pedal would do the trick, but haven't found one. However, I'm getting used to it as I ride more. The first add-on we got was armrests for my wife; we went with the Corbin rests. They are very well-made, but it takes a little time to install them. I'm waiting for my Utopia rider backrest to arrive this week, along with a set of ISO grips with a Throttle Boss.
The customizing is half the fun of a new bike.

One of the things I found was to get the Heated comfort seat/Backrest which moves you back 2 inches and seemed to help with the brake pedal position. But the more I ride the bike (Over 400 miles now) it is starting to become non noticeable as when I first rode the bike. Now keep in mind this is from someone who just traded in his Harley Triglide. But I will say the Can Am is like a Cadillac to me....I am not all beat up like I was after riding the Harley..

Something else I tested out the heated seats and grips. Wow I say..Never had heated grips never thought they would work but they do.
And my Gal says she can turn her seat/grips on from where she sits..

What I did learn is that she likes to change the radio channels on me from her area..Drives me nuts as I thought my radio channels were going haywire only to learn she was changing the channels..

So far the more I ride the more I am glad I went with the Can Am..
