Richard told me last week that they use a Ford manual. It doesn't help with almost everything on the trike. Someone on the form was supposed to be putting a manual together, but nothing happened with it. I sure wish someone would. I'm not smart enough to do one.

you cant get a tech around here that wants to mess with the front end of the trike....sure i can take it to a Ford service for anything from front tire back, but i cant get a breakdown on the front area, brakes, bearings,alingment, troubleshooting.....i contacted TBMS requesting a parts breakdown, with no return message from TBMS...

Many of us have asked many times for information, but for some reason they do not want to give it up. Most of us would not hesitate to purchase a manual, but they don't even offer one for sale. I would even do something online if they made that available.

I have yet to not be able to get spec information from TMS. If I or a tech at a dealership needed part numbers etc., TMS would come thru promptly. Can’t understand why other Stallion owners are having problems. <br />

Ya know I have found that talking to tbms is like talking to my walls..nothing gets done its like there trying to hide all there info...like I needed to replace the front intake hose took 3 week to get it to Fl they had to order it from there people cost me 108 dollars for an 8 in hose....WTF....

But what are you to do if you run into a problem on a Friday evening. You got to wait until Monday to even start the information gathering. It would be nice if the information was available without having to go through the hassle of calling. Also a lot of parts could be located locally rather then ordering them from TBMS. We are not asking for anything for free. We all are willing to pay a fair price for the information. A lot of repairs can be done a whole lot easier if you could read what needs to be done first rather then trying to figure it out yourself. With dealers being few and far between we have to plan on future repairs being done by ourselves. We have not heard anything about new Stallions coming along. Not heard anything about a redesign to accommodate a different engine. There is good possibility that what has been made is going to be it.

Then again I truly hope not because it is a fine machine and if it catches on should sell well. The bottom line is for now we need to protect the Stallions that we have. Getting information on how we can repair them ourselves is the first step.

Tom, mayber a stretch, but seems the trike shop in your fair city could help you with some of your problems. I suspect you've already been that route.

Ted, I agree we are hampered without a manual of some sort. The comment I was making was I have had no problems getting information when asked, compared to what others are saying.

You know trikers, it's hard for me to be reading this about any trike, it just make no sense. Don't these folks want to sell and service their product? I see clouds on the horizon for this company in a survival mode.

I do not think they made much or any money on the Stallion. They have made so far only around 900. The engineering then in 09 purchase of the body injection machinery/moldes for the body had to be very expensive. Now if they want to keep building them they have replace the drive train with something else. last i spoke with Jeff over a year ago they had not made a final choice yet. the main company is still very very viable. both are great companies and make a great product. we only want access to a manual to keep our great trike going.

google you year manual + pdf. only cost about 20.00 fr service manual & electrical diagnostic manual. that way you can print off the page & keep you hard copy clean. i have both for my '09 t/g
you didn't negociate it.

Eagle we are talking about a Stallion manual not a Tri-Glide. But thanks for the info.

I just need a breakdown on the front end....not the ford parts....brakes and troubleshooting....
since i had the work done on my Stallion for a broken frame, TBMS will not return any messages i've sent...
that's okay....for the word of mouth that put their Stallion on the market, is the same word of mouth that can hinder future sales...
they have always come thru with the request sent....no more it seems...very disappointed in TBMS...

Seems to me these guys are getting ready to fold their business tent if they don't respond with something. Maybe a reasonable product with no capital, without an infusion, it goes down the tubes. They need a business plan before the customers bail forever.

Since they have not found a replacement power plant for the Stallion as of yet , they have not built any new ones till they do and from what I have been told ,their looking for something that will just bolt in with out redesign of frame and or body 1000's of dollars for retooling if that's the case, I dont feel that by any means their closing their doors as the Stallion is jet one small part of the Buss.
