Agree with 'kinda'. You can spend a bunch of time with a hair dryer and a skinny screw driver trying to loosen the glue and separate it from the bars, but what are you going to do with an old pair of grips you don't want anymore. Slit them and toss them.

If you have an air compressor blows some air into the grip from the switch side and that will break the glue loose.
