I am putting together a rear wheel fitment guide for all makes and models of trikes. I need wheel size, offset and bolt pattern. If you know yours please post it here.

Wheels:
16x7 5.5-in backset, 205/55-R16 or 215/60-R16 tires
or
18x8 6-in backset, 225/45-R18 tires
5x100 bolt pattern
1.5x12 lug nuts

Great info-Thanks for adding. They aren't all the same due to the rear end setup, differing hubs the manufacturers use and the width of the fenders in relation to the hub. I will be adding the Motor Trike and Champion specs on all their models. I would ask that if anyone else can ad other manf specs I would really appreciate it. I will make a chart and add it here for all to access in case they want to change wheels in the future.

I can give you the info from the trike specification brochure. It says for wheels, 15 x 7in, 5 on 100mm bolt pattern, 4.75 in back spacing.

Did some measuring of back spacing, etc. They have the same 15" x 7" width and back spacing as the wheels found on my 1985 Thunderbird with 10 hole Ford 15x7 alloy wheels. It's "4 on 4 1/4"" or "4 on 4.25" pattern. Back-spacing is pretty darn near 4" (of the 7 between rim flanges) inside (brake side), with 3" outside the mounting surface. (near 13 mm positive offset as it's deeper on the brake side, offset is how far the wheel center is from the mounting surface while back-spacing is how much of the wheel's width is found to be on the brake or inside ... two differeing terms used to measure the same thing)

Most of the early Mustang GTs used this pattern as well as T-Birds 80-88, Pintos, and Mercury counterparts. Many wheels out there to fit. Just don't go too deep.

Would be nice if we could add what car rim would fit . I noticed JACK added that.

John. Jack mentioned the cars that these rims come from. The same applies for the rims on the Lehman Commander kit. Discount Tires have these rims in stock or can order them. I know as I put a new set of rims and tires on the trike last winter. Fall and spring put a hardship on the rims as they started to rust even with a lot of wax on them. Tires were not worn down but the rubber was drying out and had side wall cracks. They also were sliding when applying brakes hard, traction gone and hydroplaning in the wet weather. GYMPY

I sure wish someone could give me wheel choices for my 1500 csc trike because i hate the look of there hummer wheel but havent been able to find anything other than its darn hard to find something for a 4/bolt rotor what were they thinking with this design?

I second Jack's answer. My 2001 Lehman Renegade uses the same bolt pattern (4 x 4.25/4 x 108mm), etc. I think it's great because we have a large choice of wheels from the older fox-bodied Ford line-up. It took me a while before I could actually admit it...but yes...the Pinto is in-the-mix as well.

These will run anything from a 245 on down to a 195 tire. I recommend the same one that is on the stock TG...205/65R15. Anything much larger is a real problem to get out of the fender-well and the smaller tires seem to handle much better, especially in the rain.
