Purchased a Harley Tri Glide a few weeks back, just about everyone that looks at it, comments how nice it is, but most claim Harley doesn't make a trike, they have them built by another vendor. I find it hard to believe mostly because Harley has all the parts for sale for replacement.

I believe they sent them out at the beginning for final assembly of the back end..But now they do it all in house..

In 2009 and 2010 Harley sent Ultra Classics to Lehman and Lehman would trike them. In 2011 to present, Harley builds them in house. :D

I didn't know that about not until 2011 did Harley build in house. I have a 2010 and thought it was built "In House"! I don't know if that is good or what!?:confused:

From what I was told, my June '10 purchased TG was one of the last put together by Lehman. I always looked at that as a positive.ThumbUp:qpnmt:
