I would really like to see a picture too.

Hi screwball, I was reading some of your posts. I am looking for a rider backrest. can you send a pic of the Harley adjustable backrest on your freewheeler and the slip ons? I have been researching the two items and don't want to have to buy a sundowner or 600 dollar exhaust on top of it all. thanks Dana
How is the charging system handling the light bar lights and the addition of the boom audio? I have a 2015 Freewheeler I just purchased and would like to add the light bar and audio.
Thanks
I purchased with detachable windshield, rear bumper, driver backrest... Since then I added a road king light bar, installs without any modification, then added cobra 4.5" side lights, added LED front and rear turn signal lighting, added luggage rack with LED center light. Adding changing out stock pipes for Vance & Hines 4.5" pipes. Things to remember, if you over use the reverse gear, you might blow the circuits and have to reset the trip circuit under the cover on the right side, simple pull breaker. Adding 36 lbs to rear shocks really improves the ride. More additions - Adding boom audio cruiser windshield mounted kit 76321-90A. Because the pipes are routed to the right side, heat on your legs could be a problem, I added a heat deflector to this side only, it's available for both sides. Added passenger back rest, but use more like a sissy bar minus the seat rest. The 1000 mile maintenance is worth the price, umm, I shopped storage at 3 Harley dealerships and was surprised to see storage from$99.00 to $379.00 which included an oil change, battery tender supplied, and a bike wash. As the bike has linked braking for front and rear, I rarely use right handle brake. HOG membership is a fantastic way to make connections and their monthly rides...
I alway check eBay for available accessories before buying direct from Harley. I'll keep you posted, as I plan on a lot of rides in Michigan and to the south, my favorite rides in TN. Mountains....[/QUOTE]
So, in the next couple of hours my 16 Freewheeler will be delivered to my front door. I am in Newport News Virginia. It will be my first trike. After 20 years in the navy, and at least half a dozen procedures, my back simply cant handle two wheels anymore. I am already scheduled for my first modification. my legs are 34in.. and that brake pedal is something else. so they are gonna hook it up for me so that I'm not bending my foot backward to engage it. look forward to mod info and experiences on the Freewheeler..

I put the kuryakin extended pedal from DK customs on mine and love it. It moved it forward and with a little downward turn. No more lifting your leg and back to get on the pedal. I have the crash bar with highway pegs and just slide my foot over! Floor board extensions from DK work great too!
Now if I could find out which Mustang extended 1.75" further back seat will fit the freewheeler nicely; I don't like riding on the tank with the stock seat! My 2000 electra glide Classic Sits back where you should be!
79538 ? 79006 ? 79556 ? all move you back 1.75" and fit a Tri Glide???
Love the Freewheeler you will too! Welcome!
Added back rest, windshield, audio system, engine guard, and center led on luggage rack, front light bar and running lights next.
so, i am working on how to upload pics. In the mean time, i hear bad things about the freewheeler cooking your legs in traffic or parades, and then there are apparently a plethora of methods to counteract this.. what say you all?
