Whittled on that hub an hour or so this evening.*
Still not done.
Why is it I hafta make all my own parts?
Looks like this.
You gotta admit ... there is some skill there
Well Done

You get my pm?
Have most of that pulley made.
Mocking up the bottom end again.
It has been lightly assembled so many times now.
I am gonna check the cam lobe center degrees. I am hearing that the engle cams are bad about not being to spec. I always ran the eagle cams "straight up" as in exactly like the cam card. But they are spec at 107 degree which is fairly advanced. The engle is up posed to be 108 degree and is what I want now. But i hear that their qc is poor now and it could be anywhere up to 5 degrees from spec. So i gotta find out.
Pulley.
Enough of the bottom end put together to degree the cam.
Then wasted an hour looking for my degree wheel. Never did find it.
God all mighty brother!!! That is going to be one serious VDub motor man.
That pulley turned out amazing bro!!!
Ready to hear it again.
This is a couple years ago. A cold start have to rapp it a couple times to get it warmed up.

Working on fuel pump mounts.
Whittled these rings out this evening.*
Ford truck outside the tank pump.
Now to find a place to put it.
Never could find my degree wheel.
Printed a picture of a degree wheel and glued it to a piece of metal yesterday.*
Checked the cam today and it is almost 3 degrees advanced. Wow! All my eagle cams were close to spec, but not this engle. If ya gonna run an engle better check lobe center.
I guess I am gonna be slotting the holes in the cam gear now.
Hmm, yea 3 degrees is quite a bit really. I checked the W110 and it seemed to be within a degree either way.
Yeah I checked it several times and at different amounts of lift. Got 2.5 to 3 advanced every time.
I don't have an adjustable gear. I suppose I am gonna turn mine into one though. I don't wanna run it advanced. Want it at the advertised 108.
