Well today, I took the plunge; purchased a '13 Honda GL1800 with RS trike conversion...pick it up tomorrow. I've been riding Goldwings for 15 years, but wanted to try a trike. I kept my current GW for those times when just 2 wheels will do. I plan to teach my Mrs to ride the trike as well. I'm not sure about others, but it was difficult for me to pick which conversion to get. I test rode a CSC Viper, MT Razor and the RS HTS. To be honest, I really like the looks of the Razor especially from the rear, but I chose the RS. It was a dealer demo bike, never tagged, and the shop owner had ridden it some, so it has 900 miles on the clock. It has all the Honda accessories I wanted already installed, the conversion kit includes the adjustable preload, performance sway bar, aux fuel tank, steering rake, progressive front springs, upgraded chrome rims, and wing guards. The RS was cheaper than the MT Razor, and based on my test rides, I think the RS rode and handled better than the other 2 trikes. I readily admit I'm new to trikes, but that was my "seat of the pants" observation. I really appreciate the information I gleaned from the members of this site and hope I can share information to help others as well.
