I am thinking of some head work and cams for my 2010 TG and was hoping for some suggestions. I am looking for more roll on smooth power.
Thanks,

You can go here and find some dyno charts. Unfortunately they won't be for trikes though.

Friend of mine recently upgraded with S&S 557 cams on his Harley. (Disclaimer - I don't know Jack about Harley bikes).
He says performance improvement was really worth every penny he spent on the upgrade. ( I have no idea)
Anyway, if you want to check it out, the web site is:

Have fun with this one!
There may be better cams out there but I'm happy with my SE255 cams and S&S lifters, recommended by my installer/tuner. The engine no longer sounds like a sewing machine. I get good pull and acceleration.
2010 RHS Tri-Glide Ultra, Fuelmoto stainless headpipe, Supertrapp SE slip-ons, SE255 cams w/S&S lifters and TTS2 tuned by Docs Performance, Lenale parade fan, UltraCool Reefer oil cooler, ClutchWiz, Barnett+1 clutch pack. Check with Fuel Moto as they are very good at recommending what you need for your current situation. I have a 2013 and they recommended the Woods T222. Turned out to be a great choice.
I HAVE a 2010 Triglide w/103ci. motor. I put in a 557 S&S cam, lifters with a V&H true duals and exhaust and Tuner. Good Torgue but suffer just alittle on Top end with 2 up. CVO Comp.and Clutch also.....

Why not just start with the TTS tuner and see how that feels first before putting all kinds of engine mods on??
Have you decided on a head porter? I would choose a head porter and discuss your desires with him. This guy http://www.jwperf.com/index.html did heads and cams for FLTR2008TRIKE, I haven't heard anything bad about him. I'm going to be pulling my dads top end apart this winter and having heads ported, that guys is at the top of my list.

Red Ultra Powered By Head-Quarters 120, Easy Clutch Pull By ClutchWIZ. 2012 GL1800 Hannigan. I've yet to ride a stock Harley which wasn't in need of a mechanical intervention.
SE254E and a TTS tuner...decat headpipe...hiflow aircleaner...slipons of your choice ...
I have a PC 5 with auto tune , Jackpot headers and pipes and jackpot AC . Had it dyno tuned . I ride solo. Just want more power.
Thanks for the help.

I have an 09 Trike with Fueling 525's, Big Sucker kit and Rush slipons. 09 has no cat to worry about. Had a stage 1 download done and I'm completely satisfied with performance and NO heat problems. Plenty of power from 1750 RPM on up. I get reminded every time I wind up to 4000 rpm's to dial it back, we're going fast enough. Couldn't be happier.

msocko3 I'm telling you what I've had done to the bike. I know the previous owner and he did not part with pennies without purpose. He traded for a newer model with 29k on clock and I asked him personally if he made any mods and answer was no. Got bike in May of 2013 and thoroughly stock, heat was never an issue compared to many who have posted with issues. By July I had AC and pipe mods done with no problems and no download yet. September cams went in and indy said to do stage 1 download to see how it performs before you do a management system. Didn't get much riding done late 2013 so I just figured I'd test things out this year (2014). A super riding season and it runs like stated before. Unless the previous owner had those nightrider add-ons done that is all that has been done and he never told me he did it. What can I say, I had an 08 Ultra w/sidecar 103 built and it was a dog compared to the trike and that had a SE management system. Go figure.
You might want to buy a lottery ticket, the laws of internal combustion say it shouldn't work, or at least not work well. Sometimes they will run, but run dangerously lean. If it has the nightrider XIED's you should be able to see them easily.
Your past experience with your 08 Ultra could have been a combination of parts and tune. If either one isn't right you won't get the most out of it. I had a 95" TW37 build in my 06 Ultra some years back which was a dog down low. I decided to quit spending money having folks build my engines and started doing my own.
I went to a 95" Head-Quarters touring build, talk about a monster. I ran nice, lots of low end and pulled real well into the upper RPM ranges. My present 120" Head-Quarters build will also put a big grin on your face.

Andrews H55 cams do the trick for me
when life deals you a crappy hand, you can fold.....or you can play
Any experience with S&S 103's ?
I have a 110 dealer built 08 with high flow s.e. heads. it came with s.e. 255 cams. this set up was as much power as I wanted . the problem was it had s.e lifters. one of the lifters failed and ruined the cam and oil pump. rebuilt it and had to use an s&s 551. not as happy with the 551. lost some of the torque on the lower rpm's.
I rode one of the new 103's a few weeks ago. it was bone sock. IMO they need more torque. Good luck with your up grade. Heads, cam, intake ,and a good tune would be a great place to start.
I may be misinformed, but I was told that starting with the 14's, the 103 has the 255 cam in it. I did have the 255 in mine. When I did the stage 4, I went with the 259E. Very happy with the increased torque and power. Somewhere on here The Wiz did a cam compare thread that showed the dyno charts on several different cams. The 259E rated very high up on the torque and HP graph. Can't find the thread now though. Maybe someone else can. It has a lotta great info.
2011 Cool Blue TriGlide with full stage 4, a lotta other upgrades, and a lotta shiny stuff.
Hi..My name is Trent and I am a Chromaholic.
There are several cams better suited for the CVO 110 than the S&S 551. Some of them are Andrews 54, Head-Quarters 575 or 525, Tman 555 or the Tman 555 torqster. Depending on who tuned it, there could be something left on the table.
